I've put together a big-ass album of images I've collected as reference. These are 95% five foot model with a few 32-inch that may have snuck in. These are people's photos from public exhibits of the SW models, scans from SW Chronicles, and other sources I've long forgotten.

You're a BEAUTY Kamandi! A lot of these pics I don't have. Awesome and thanks!

Just add /zip to the end of the URL and it will DL the whole album as a .zip file

I also have a two more BIG zip files totalling ~7 gb with ~1300 5 foot model pics that appear to have been taken by someone with their camera set on "burst". Many inch by inch surveys of nooks and crannies over the entire 5 foot model. I'm uploading them to Mega but it will take a little bit. I'll post a link in a couple hours.

You sir, are a legend! This is invaluable!

Thanks!

Someone is breaking pieces off the tree instead of getting a proper pair of snips. I'll withhold judgement on the gaps until I see mine.

Yeah, this person is clearly not getting the pieces off the spruce correctly lol. Look at all the indents where this person clearly cut it off/cut into. This is a hack job, no need to worry people!

Who is paying so much money for a model and not knowing how to work with it?

The f'ed up area of "Kool-shade" is also bent on the studio model. If anything it looks like the owner of this kit tried to bend the parts and damaged them.

Edit - Also noticing some of the "gaps" correspond to gaps on the "real" Falcon. They even re-created a diagonal "scratch" between the kool-shade and the bend of the tube.

I'm calling "bullsh--". I think this guy was trying to bend the kool-shade and screwed it up. This is how the parts appear on the sprues - no damage.

Uploading motherload zips of 5 foot model images to google drive. About 3 hours left on the file transfer. Check this link tomorrow: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B-mnSOnuTp4objZMNzUwS0NVejg?usp=sharing

Kamandi - thanks so much for sharing these. Question on Bandai snap-on model: For big Bandai models such as the Falcon, do you think if I should use glue? I do not have experience with Bandai and I am not sure how solid snap-on pieces are when put together. Thanks again.

I think you guys misinterpreted my post, the guy does extremely good work. I'm pretty sure he's adding damage that's supposed to be there??

He also added the large blaster hit to the bottom but now I can't find the pics.

The gaps are there, but that was only mockup pics, no gaps after he was done.

Gonna try to find the finished pics.
