This may be a stupid question, but which do you prefer, the Asmus or Sideshow Gandalf? In all honesty, comparing pictures from both your reviews, I actually prefer the Sideshow version. Especially with a repaint it could beat the Asmus one I think.

I am having a huge dilemma right now. I bought a Sideshow Sith Anakin a while back with the intention to make a custom out of it. Now I am at a loss if I should continue my plans or not however.. The custom would cost me more than a Hot Toys figure costs, quite a bit more, but I fear I may end...

Stupid question that's surely answered already but, did you need to do anything special (Like removing a plastic thingy for example?) for the lights to work? Just picked mine up and neither the stand nor the vader lights are working. The fact both aren't lighting up makes me feel like I did...

I will finally be picking mine up this friday and will have some time for a quick inspection (unfortunately I doubt I'll get the time to get it out of the box), are there any QC issues I can / should quickly check for?

Am I imagining or is the neck on this figure simply too short? Something looks really off around the neck area that really bothers me and makes me actually doubt buying the figure.

So just the TTM 21? I tried putting the suit on one recently and I'm not sure if it's too bulky or not.. Hard to judge without a headsculpt yet but something just feels too big, I'm not sure at all of how "correct" this is though since this is my first real custom.
