Hi DerekDes, I hadn't noticed to be honest. Which areas had the paint issues? I can take some close-up pictures and we can see if my statue has the issue. I can post them later tonight but want to make sure I get the right areas.

I finally had a chance to open and put together Hawkgirl. I'm really happy with this statue. I've always liked any statues with wings and I think they did a great job with this one.

This is a shame. Don't show one thing and then ship something different. Prototype differences versus production should be very minor, not significant changes to the pose that affect the overall aesthetic of the piece. That $50 credit towards future purchases makes it a wash though!

Somehow I was actually kind of shocked to see Sideshow re-issuing the old stuff... guess I shouldn't be surprised though. New set looks cool. I'll keep my old one. New Jabba looks like he's wearing a sweater or something to me with all of the gray around this shoulders.

I hadn't seen this statue until I stumbled across this topic... amazing! It would be nice to have a license-free statue in the collection. The pictures blow me away!

I really like this one from what I see so far. No weird pose, just a cool stance and a great cape. I think the additional chrome will really set this one off. Will no ex, am planning to wait for a coupon or free shipping but definitely plan to PO.

Their oversized Decepticon jets look awesome! Thanks for posting the pics. Have you compared this to the Wei Jiang Oversized Starscream? I think they look pretty similar at first glance.

I don't have any Iron Studios pieces yet but I agree with you based upon the pictures of these. The head sculpts and likenesses look much closer to Hot Toys. Looks like these run around $100 more than Sideshow currently so may be for the next price increase there will be a quality increase...

I have been away from the forum for awhile and I know that this dead horse has been beaten, but while I was excited to see this statue, at $700, I'm out. I wish Sideshow and Hot Toys would slow it down. I would love to see them challenge themselves to see what they could still produce in 1/4...
