I'm a rookie and I have a custom project I am beginning. What kind of paint should I use on a pair of Odin forearm gauntlets and a dark knight utility belt? And what (if anything) should I apply after I'm finished painting?

I was curious if the gun gauntlets are removable?

Solved my own problem! Gambled and bought a neck peg from Headplay - it looked longer in the photo onling - and it is indeed a little bit longer than the HT peg. I really think it helps with the proportions of the figure.

I solved my own problem! Rolled the dice and ordered a Headplay neck peg. Online pics looked a little longer than the original peg that came with the figure. The new peg IS a little longer and helps with the look of the figure (in my opinon).
