After the way the second turned out, to me at least, I've haven't expected a good story from these movies. lol I watch these for what they are, mindless action films. It's nice watching movies like this every once in a while. Most of the movies I usually watch are more serious.

That wasn't directed at anybody in particular, just in general. I've just been seeing people on other sites around the net saying how much they hate the films, but seem to be becoming a little more open minded about the movies after seeing Retribution. Basically saying the same thing you did...

I don't care how bad the movie is, I've never taken them seriously, so I know I'll like it for what it is. And that's a mindless action film, a movie to watch when there's nothing else to do. lol

Seems to be something a lot of die hard game fans who hate the films with a passion either look over or ignore. They would have gotten what they wanted if Capcom would have allowed it.

I just started thinking, that's probably why there's an early announcement. Because he was already working on the home video release, they probably went ahead and got the release date set and out of the way!

Seems to be the new thing this year. So many movies released this year have gotten early home video announcements.
