In response to the thread topic, I say 'yes'.
Art is what you want it to be, and don't let any high-minded, bourgeois pr*ck tell you otherwise. :lecture
Ok, it's not awful. But seriously, does HT finalise the sculpt and THEN compare it to the real deal? That's just not cricket. Surely they would sculpt then compare, tweak the sculpt and then compare again until they get closer.
Ah well, it's set in stone now.
Three areas where the sculpt went...
Re: Sideshow PF Jack Sparrow In Progress
But then again, you're not just paying for the gun. You're paying for the exclusivity of the item and the kudos that comes with owning an exclusive rather than a regular edition. And you (almost) can't put a price on that.
Hope that doesn't keep you up...
Un-box, play, abuse, and then re-box and sell on Ebay as a 'new' item. :lol
I'm sure it's happened somewhere.
But seriously, I don't get the idea of keeping modern collectibles (other than strictly limited editions or variants) unopened, since modern collectibles are widely available and won't...
Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure
How bitterly disappointing. :horror
Doesn't even resemble Bruce Lee; Enterbay sculpt (both face and body) is superior. HT's glorious new body sculpt with all its joint seams looks like Pinocchio. Tie some strings...
Ok, having actually read HT's Facebook post (DX 04 is something in production for 'years'), I do doubt it will be Iron Man Mark V.
On the count of three: :gah:
Yep, cheers for the pics, Josh. And kudos for not watermarking them or similar; there's little more annoying than that. I'm all for freedom of information. :)
