Had Jedi Luke in storage for a couple years. Finally it is time to bring him out.

While this does look better than the maquette, I find the head looks way oversized, throwing off the overall proprtion quite a bit. Almost too 'bulldog' like with its big head.

However, the clothing is tailored with that body in mind, so swapping a different body won't get as good of a fit on the clothing, especially the upper body stuff. Pants on the other hand are baggy, so make not much difference. Its not an ideal body, especially on articulation. But the clothing...

I also agree that the beard looks very uniformed and repetitive in terms of how they are sculpted. Detailed, but a bit artificial and not very natural. But the face is very nice. Just opened mine and I have to say the figure is indeed as impressive as the pictures shown. I also happen to get one with a pretty nice haircut right out of the box with some nice trimming and curly strands. I'll let my wife does her magic taming the hair as she is very good with her dolls...
