Dust proofing these cabinets isn't very hard to do, I dust proofed my detolf and besta's with some home weatherstripping and some magnets to keep the doors of the besta's shut. Not a single particle of dust gets in anymore.. just the way i like it, I'm too lazy to be cleaning them out all the time.

My guess is IKEA is going to convert the Besta to some kind of ''click fit'' system, something that you won't need screws for, seems to be a new IKEA thing, it is only a guess however. The comment from IKEA that the colors may vary, and that that the whole besta/inreda accesory production seems...

My local IKEA has been out of stock on a LOT of Besta stuff for a while, doesn't look like they get new supplies, except for the frames. I spoke to someone from IKEA Netherlands who told me they are going to change the way the Besta frames are put together. Also there may be a color difference...

I had the same problem, it's frustrating, I think Ikea should put a warning on their site before discontinuing products... especially since people are often slowly expanding their besta/whatever systems (and Ikea actually promotes this) I see a lot of people complaining to Ikea about this...

23 5/8x15'' will be discontineud in April.... 23 5/8x25 1/4'' will stay...for now.. so i was told. Stocks have been low around here (Europe) so keep an eye on the stock prognosis is my advice.
