I stopped watching the second Frank became President. I learned my lesson from sticking with the Dexter train wreck... a show that's run out of ideas never comes good.
Spoiler:Up to the final episode now. I found the Shepherd family to be completely unlikable, if the audience was meant to root for them, I don't think they pulled that off.
I don't even understand the point of Jane. Claire wants her there, but she's also close to Mark, whom Claire wants out because he's being controlled by the Shepherds? Frank had been doing their bidding the entire time?

Spoiler:Season was certainly rushed. The ending was just ridiculous! It literally just ended in the middle of the story. Claire still pregnant and just about to start a war with Russia over Syria. Doug leaving the coordinates to Rachel's body, but whether the journalist gets it is anyone's guess. Claire survives her assassination attempt, however with so many enemies, it seems unlikely she would last long, especially with the Shepherds still around.
There were several things I just found stupid. Doug believing he could bring Claire down without implicating Frank. Frank leaving everything to Doug in his Will. Surely that would be overturned in favour of his Widow if she contested the Will, especially considering her position as President.
I'm glad Doug finally got what was coming to him, but Claire should have lost in the end also. I also feel we were deprived of seeing Frank's demise. It really is a shame they couldn't finish the show the way they had intended. They also shouldn't have cut back to just 8 episodes, they had to rush too much at the end and still couldn't finish it correctly. That final scene is a really crappy way to end the entire series.
What a ship wreck of a season. The show has been cancelled right?
Hmm, I'd read that Kevin Spacey posted a 'bizarre' video, but hadn't seen it up till now. Not sure what to think.
Not sure I'd call it 'bizare', but I guess it's odd considering he got fired from the show, and is now continuing on that character on his own, so it's a bit sad that he can't move on. But at the same time, he was that show, and it clearly went off the rails without him there.
Watched then last season. What a disappointing crap fest.

People can think what they want of the guy... he is a wonderful actor!

He is a fantastic actor it would be a shame not to see him on the screen.
I guess we'll put Kevin Spacey in a cell right next to Donald Trump, eh?
