You are very welcome. You did the hard part there, i'm just having (a lot of) fun :wink1:

Wow, these shots are phenomenal!

The dio really takes off when widened and extended to true scale, to coin a term :). Seeing the circular surround come together is the magic.

Just speaking for myself, and with due deference to the popularity of the Detolf format, the pay off for me that makes the investment to bring these Jazz masterpieces home easily worth it is how they shine in TruScale.

That probably doesn't hold as strongly when the dio is a of less distinctive background, like the various Deathstar panels which look GREAT in the Detolf. But (again for me), these truly iconic scenes almost require the TruScale treatment.

Please don't get me wrong, If one is committed to the smaller scale cabinets by preference or space limitations, you could do no better than what Joost is making available to us. They are all breathtaking in build quality and presentation.

But for me it's go big or go home!

Final setup in the Detolf.

I do agree that True Scale adds a lot more to the display but in the case of this service corridor, it works perfectly fine in both configurations. On the other hand, With the entry hallway, a wider version would have had my preference if space weren't an issue.

I'm so incredibly excited to buy another creation from Joost. There's so much love and effort put into these and they just scream love of Star Wars, ANH.

I am also interested in the red lighting. Was filter paper put over the Ikea lighting for the red lighting effect or can you choose colors?

Thanks man!!! I admit I am a complete Star Wars nut, which is one of the reasons I haven't tried other franchises yet, because nothing inspires me as much as Star Wars.

Anyway, the red light is from an IKEA dioder. They come in white or color RGB variants. I believe they are called LEDBERG in the US:

I'm the same, I don't own a single figure outside of the Star Wars collection. Although, it's not like I haven't wanted to buy other figures, particularly the very finely crafted figures. I need my Joost dolly houses to take my figures to the next level and to satisfy this peculiar addiction. :)

So wasn't there another link to a round Ikea light that was used to angle down on top of Leia and along side R2? Was is this light you linked too? This light seems too long to have done the job.

So Tee-Kay, you have both floor sizes?

Yep, i got the larger extended floor pieces. Right now, my Service Corridor dio is displayed in a Detolf but it may end up being displayed in a larger space later on. Just thought they might come handy on the long run.

I requested the expansion as well. I have plans for this with the hallway, construction of the space will commence tomorrow night when I get back to town.:yess: Well shortly after visiting the wife and dogs.

On this service corridor it's 38 cm

Thank you!! I'm just prepping my shelves and debating if i should create a top for it of some kind? You are using dark floors now, yes Jazz? I saw on one of your videos that the metal is showing up a darker color, or was that after you painted it?
