I read about it in Facebook Captain Action fans. I also know Peter the agent for the molds and he confirmed a toy company in Mexico leased them. Same company that made the Best of the West reissues from the Marx molds.

I thought that Bones Iron Man was supposed to represent what the inner workings/endo skeleton looks like underneath the finished armor plates? Why the hell would Tony Stark paint up an unfinished, unplated, vulnerable suit in red and gold? Wouldn't painting over some of those key parts and robotics **** them up?

Oh, it's to sell a stupid repaint for a couple hundred bucks? I get it, never mind.

But, like, why keep it open? What's the point? This isn't like Hamill Joker or whatever where they said "he was still coming" and we wound up getting him 5 years later. This was "we currently don't have any plans for this." Now, while that may not have been quite as final a few years ago, it's been 5 years, and this was already a very niche product, and, if they aren't even making the BvS Batmobile, it's the final nail in the coffin, as franpincho said. There's literally no point other than to wallow in our own bitterness. Am I pissed off? Not really, actually. I'm glad we finally have some sense of closure, but I kind of stopped caring a long time ago.

In the immortal paraphrased words of Supersteve, "the Batmobile is dead, bury it."

Well, that's unfortunate but not surprising. They had already said through unofficial channels that it wasn't happening, now they've officially confirmed it.

Hot Toys can't make vehicles profitable. They don't even make the SW vehicles they show. And if an evergreen like SW can't be profitable for them, nothing can.

Not sure what the "right time" would be for Romero Joker...they waiting for West, Ward or Newmar to die and capitalize on that
