I built the panels that surround the HOA and create the entrance to the right of the bays, now I have to find the plastic stock to make the door components.

It’s hard to tell from the image but the panels are a tan concrete finish as oppose to the gray look of the Wine Cellar

With everything removed from the other side I was able to get a full shot of the display

I rearranged and added a couple new armors for the Wine Cellar

Here is a shot with all of the lights on

IRON MAN HOUSE PARTY PROTOCOL HOA BASE DC POWER JACK INSTALLATION

It is simple to add a power jack to the base.

This is the jack I used - DC Power Jack Socket DC-002 1.1 x 3.5 mm. It is the same size as the jack used to power the back panel

5 Pcs DC Power Jack Socket DC 002 1 1 x 3 5 mm Black DIY New | eBay

I solder 2 wires to the correct lugs and then hot glued the jack to the socket at the back of the base.

Then I routed the wires to the battery box and soldered them to their respective lugs and I used hot glue to secure the wires in place

I drilled a 3/8” hole through the back to give me plenty of clearance for the jack and I removed the back peg, you really don’t need all 4 screws to hold it together so this isn’t a issue.

First time I've ever even opened this thread.... and... well...

:clap :thud: :clap

Well done that man... This exemplifies everything about what a high cost hobby is... a labour of love, and a love of your hobby. It's like a modern take of the old train set spare room/garage your uncle used to spend his evening in, designing, building, painting, gluing... while your aunty was doing some baking in the evening..

:hi5: :clap

Wow very impressive boba, keep up the good work.

Thanks, I'll try :)

Welcome to the thread. I use the exact same "scale train" analogy when my friends are trying to figure it out.

Here is my “work shop” set up. I'm doing the bases in groups of 3 an 4 since that is how they are grouped together on the USB power hub. I have the right side done and it took about 2 hours, the left side will be faster.

Before I do the final hot glue and re-assembly I test each base to make sure it works. By the way, if I don’t feel like breaking down the entire set up, that 9” gap is my access point to the entire electrical system.

Here is the best view of the back electrical system. I have 4 of the USB Hubs powering the lower section.

I finished hard wiring the HPP HOA Bay bases with DC power jacks and I have them all hooked up to the USB power hubs

The lighting effect is subtle but needed

Looks great !I need to spend some time on my set up we think alike with the wireing set up i will keep an eye o your progress keep it up.

I read this in a different thread and thought it would fit here

.......I think they should do Starks Malibu house. Lol it's as integral to the movie as the tumbler is in batman. Maybe more so. Plus, it would tie everything together well. Heck, wouldn't even need the whole house. Do the living room area, as one item. Then the basement as another. I'd buy it. Be the best toy playset in years. At least for me. Lol

:)

I finished the Hulk Buster cabinet this week end:

I mimicked the edge detail of the HPP HOA Bays and painted it with the same concrete looking paint:

Some random accessories I may or may not use

Incredible!!!
It's really going to be that big?!?!?!

Hulk Busters Bay fits him good on the width and depth but it is a little tall being about 32" in side but I didn't want it looking like I crammed him in there.

Incredible job man, I'm beyond jealous. It's going to look insane when it's complete. Hulk buster is going to be huge from the look of that bay.

I'm not sure if it will ever be complete, it is a very liquid display environment

I have a lot going on so I have decided to post my progress weekly with a Sunday Update

I received a lot of stuff and got a lot built this week but still have a long way to go

I finally had the time to get the top glass panels for the Hulk Buster and Villains cabinets. The glass made a HUGE difference. You can also see the juke box radio I bought on eBay for $10 and I built part of the door way. I couldn’t finish this because I have to order more plastic stock.

I painted the Avengers Cabinet and I have bullet1217 to thank for the Mandarin back drop, not only did he send the file to me but he even re-worked it to make it fit my display. You can also see the mobile base plate for my version of the Construction Set.

A better image of the back drop, I still need a lot of set dressing to finish this shelf

I bought my wife a 1/6th scale jumbo rabbit and she loves it.

Brilliant as ever! Will look even better once Mark 1 arrives!
Are you still planning to have Bones on the construction setup?
I have that set and a Mark 3 on the way. Can't decide what to do as it may bug me having 2 Mark 3s!
Where did you find the giant bunny?

Thanks.

Yes Bones will be in my construction "bay". I'm hoping for a good deal on the normal Construction set. If that happens I'll see if I can remove the extra stuff from the Mark 3 and incorporate it into Bones I also have some Mark 42 parts that I want to add to Bones.

I bought the bunny on ebay for $39.90 shipped

He has one left

Hot Figure Toys 1 6 Iron Man 3 Christmas Super Big Rabbit Pepper Gift | eBay

WOW really going the distance with this one:clap

It's a hobby.

The Wine Cellar reminds me of those Franklin Mint Collections. Your first delivery was one collectable and a display case to put it in. Then every month they sent you another piece of the collection.

The only difference is that Hot Toys isn't feeding me a new HPP Armor every month.
