Wouldnt you take offense if someone posted this in reaction to your love of Escape From New York? Personally I try and be respectful of others even if their opinion is contrary to my own. I may not succeed 100% of the time, but I try.

I quite liked this movie, but this thread is so filled with posters who hate Nolan, that cant see beyond their hatred of him yet love to post ad nauseum on a thread of a movie they dont like. I dont have anything personal against anybody here, but seriously, if you hate the movie that much, a month after it has been released, leave the thread to those with something more constructive to say. It's not like the movie just came out and your expressing your fresh opinion on how disappointed you were. It's more like your taunting people who have a different opinion.

The movie is great. I'm going for a 2nd view this weekend. This time with regular screen.

Good post.

I've seen every serious movie released this year so far - Birdman, Whiplash, Boyhood, Nightcrawler, A Most Wanted Man, The Theory of Everything, Zero Theorem, Two Faces of January, Locke, Under The Skin, Magic In The Moonlight, Enemy, Nymphomaniac I & II...

I'm only missing A Most Violent Year, Selma and Foxcatcher.

So far, Interstellar in 70mm has been the best in-theater experience I've had this year. Seen it 3 times in 15/70 and have ZERO problems with the movie. Love the performances, the pacing, the storytelling, the score and the cinematography. Still don't understand all the hate.

I have yet to see it a second time. It's still playing at my local theater so I may go see it there again but I'd love to see it in imax at least once.

I didn't enjoy it as much as you but I still thought it was a great flick.

yeah it's definitely worth seeing in imax. i haven't seen it in a normal theater yet but imax adds so much to the experience. it's the first movie i've seen more than once in imax but the next time i see it will probably be in a regular theater. i can't wait.
