I just emailed them. I'm guessing that the exclusive edition at NYCC comes with your personalized badge, but that you'll be able to buy the regular version with Coulson's badge inside afterwards. Since I've already made a SHIELD badge for my Son with Photoshop, I don't need that.

I'll post here with their reply, just so anyone who might be interested will know.

Yea that would be good to know. I have a Coulson security card that I had custom printed on an actual plastic card with pocket clip, along with all the SHIELD dossiers, but I would not mind getting another in that wallet with the metal badge. The personalized badge i don't really need, but it would be really cool to have.

I enjoy a sitcom, they are super easy. But SHIELD is fun to work on. Just to be a part of that universe is a fan boys dream, especially since they pay me to do it.

Exactly. My main show definitely has a fanboy element and there has been some cool perks to go along with my fandom (tho I missed the week everyone got to neet Stan Lee!!!!) but working in SHIELD would be awesome because the direct subject matter of day to day filming is the Marvel Universe!

If you can't attend NYCC but know somebody that is attending, after you PO you can email eFx the attendee's name who'll be picking your order up at the show.

Just watched Ultimate Spider Man and heard a voice I recognized. Clark Gregg voices Agent Coulson on the animated show as well. Man, he really is a fan. So cool.

Yep, Coulson/Gregg is everywhere. Ultimate Spidey Is our favorite tv show.

I've seen several people here on the for sale forum selling him for about $220 shipped. I'd probably jump on that if you want to make sure you have one.

Or you can do like me, buy a Headplay Coulson head for about $30, a Destroyer Gun for about $35, a body, a suit and a few accessories. Looks good enough for me, and costs less.

If you're unfamiliar with them have a go at the thread dedicated to their props in the Marvel Statue section.

I have a friend attending the show, so at least that's covered.
Not sure if I'll be able to get my face on the ID with a friend pickup, but making a custom SHIELD ID made can't be too hard I reckon.

Got my order in from SS, i ordered 2 of them, both didn't come in Hot Toys shipping box, boxes were scuffed up; and one box was even "UNSEALED" the tie was messed up and paint missing from his shirt; it looks like it was played with; why would they pack an open product??? Anybody else experience this with SS before or with Agent Coulson; did others come in Hot Toys Shipping boxes?

Yes! It was a pleasant surprise to see him there.

That what I've been anxious about in the new TV series.
Coulson has been great as a humorous character at the sidelines.
I wonder how he'll fare as the main attraction of the show.

I saw the first episode at D23 last month. It was awesome, a perfect blend of action and humor. And although Coulson is clearly the leader, the show was far from being only about him.

I think Fitz & Simmons will have slightly lesser roles, but May and Ward are total badasses.

It says it's limited to 1,500 pieces, no mention of further production runs.

They just added a note to the description though:

"NOTE: IF, FOR ANY REASON, YOU FAIL TO PICK-UP YOUR BADGE AND ID AT NYCC, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL SHIPPING AND HANDLING CHARGES, INCLUDING CALIFORNIA SALES TAX, IF IT IS SHIPPED TO AN ADDRESS IN CALIFORNIA.
