Trying to get caught up to play some Halo 4 - playing Halo 3 now. What is it about Bungie games? They don't age well....halo 3 is like a really kick ass looking Original Xbox game. Textures look very simple

5 long years, from the look. I dunno - gears 1 is 6 years old plus, and still looks good. I think a stylized version like Gears holds up better than at an attempt for realism like in Halo 3. Liking it for the gameplay and love the look of the baddies, just the issue is the rough looking walls, stairs, etc

Yeah I actually thought that as I posted it, Gears still holds up no doubt and I did think it was a bit blocky playing thru again before Halo 4 dropped.

Just played and finished Halo anniversary - loved it, but definitely more stylized. For me, that's the way to go. One of the reasons I think Borderlands 1 will always look nice to me - no matter

Halo 3 is hard of Heroic mode imo

I really really hope they do a Halo 2 Anniversary - 2014 is the ten year date if I am not mistaken for that one. The PF looks fantastic

Oh they'll have to won't they? Halo 2 was rad and I havent played it since back in the day coz I don't have my xbox 1 set up.

You can play Halo 1 or 2 on the 360

Amazing. I was playing slayer with a friend (4 vs 4 team battle) and someone assassinated him so he dropped his energy sword. Needless to say I picked it up and went on a crazy killing frenzy. I managed to down seven guys in a row (meaning I almost killed their whole team twice) before finally getting killed myself. Definitely the highlight of online so far. I felt so good afterward

Agreed. To me the Arbiter should have been facing off against squads of UNSC marines. Finally culminating in a head to head against the MC himself. EPIC boss battle. Then the Grave Mind could of pulled you both out of the fight like that one cutscene shows. Halo 2 had so many missed opportunities.

Actually the party is not over.

However the party for Call of duty ended 4 years ago when they started releasing the same game each year.
