this is the first pic i've seen of the suit where i've been really impressed:

colours and proportions look cool there. but i still think HT's is a bit too glossy.

A teaser a month ago, a full body shot about two weeks later, some posed shots a week after that and then more posed shots a few days later, yet still no official specs/pics reveal or pre-order

you twist my words, I didn't say the suit sucks, I have the black version of this, the raimi suit is much better designed, it's just hot toys execution of this suit was lacking, it's clear they are getting much better at making the spider-man suit and I highly look forward to the spider-man 2 version, if they ever make it.

I have a feeling that this is what's holding it back too. Doesn't makes sense for HT to be OK with all those other full suit shots being leaked before their official pics

Why do people think Marvel would approve of allllll the merchandise being produced with orange eyes if it wasn't accurate

The eyes are yellow/orange even on this shot. This IS the actual color but just not as pronounced as some of the images on the trailer.
Even the videogame's cover has a reflective yellow/orange color on it.
