Break at the base of the neck? Acceptable compromise for Garfield sculpt and articulation.

What I notice in these pics is that HT's photographers don't seem to know how to bend a figure's ankles so that it's feet lay flat on the ground so that poses don't look awkward and stilted.

Considering the S3 figure came with a dio base; something like that at the very least.

I know that and you know that but the Avengers license has brought a lot of spoilt little brats to the community

they're never satisfied.

I really hate those crappy black Hot Toys bases! Let's all the figures display options down.

I just want the base area wider fo better posing.

How the hell are we seeing so much of this figure before official specs/pics? Looking good, can't wait to have this next to Raimi's (classic) Spiderman.

I know, they're all dripping out slowly, but none are from HT themselves

Nice photos. Seems like they really got the texture down. Looks like no ankle articulation, and I'd be very surprised if that suit isn't far more restrictive than the Toby Maguire one in terms of what poses he can achieve.

It most certainly does look great!! $189??? I mean it seems pretty basic so far, some extra hands, extra unmasked HS...I think thats it in the accessory dept...maybe some webbing??

I agree that the suit will probably be restrictive, but what a great surprise it would be if HT had figured a way to keep the skin tight look while giving us dynamic posing options...not gonna happen however, I do live in the real world.

If they ever go back to the one piece turkey neck suit it'll be a huge fail on hot toys part, that is the worst way to make a spider-man figure.

My Spidey doesn't have a turkey neck.

If yours does it's because you have him posed wrong.

Looks like every Spidey from now on will have the ugly neck joint/removable head.

I cant be sure but if you really examine the part of the headsculpt shown in the teaser it looks like hes scratched up already.
