I don't think that poster meant to cause an issue. I read the posts as a concern. It is the response he received and the subsiquential pats on the slammers back that devolved the discussion to little more than a jeuvenile "yo momma" match. The concern is a legit one and the issue is something that harms other industries with a high profit yield so it is not out of the realm of possibility that we could be seeing the same issue now.

Anyway, I see a lot of photos with Logan in his full clothes or in his tank but does he look good with no shirt or just the red shirt?

Well i wont, but i also wont buy 10 supermen just to flip them off later on :nono

I can see how that was a problem in the past because things were in such limited quantities but now, they make more than enough for the flippers to get stuck with 10 figures they cant sell because SSC filled every single waitlist order lol

I feel the exact opposite, I don't want to get involved but as far as I saw it he was a new guy just trying to give a heads up to the community. Steve's side by side comparison picks were cool and useful but his other pics and attitude made him come across as a little bit of a jerk.

I certainly don't think Hot Toys bootlegs are that common but if there is suspicion I'd rather hear it than have the person be told to shut up and get lost.

I was a jerk and I guess I came off too strong. My other "legit" pictures were posted as a joke and I by not means wanted that guy to get lost. I just wanted proof, so much so that I offered him a new HT figure for it. Has anyone thought about what all this talk is doing to a business who has done nothing wrong so far but do legitimate deals (I hope) on hard to find figures? So far everyone that I know that has ordered from them has been happy.

More updates of my Lucky Jim bash, I'm really starting to like how this guy is turning out. He looks great standing next to Cap.

Wow, that's a fantastic figure.

I would really love to get my hands on a wolverine figure but the prices on ebay are INSANE.
Why is that? were there less made than all of the iron man figure -for example?

i just dont get the price based on how many complaints there are about this figure, mainly the head sculpt....
please excuse my ignorance if this issue has been covered already, Im new.

There are many reasons why this figure cost so much;
1. HT made a limited amount.
2. The figure is older and harder to find MIB
3. It's a great figure so people will hold on to it so there's not a lot in the 2nd market
4. People are willing to pay
5. Scalpers buy a bunch then mark up the prices
6. Everybody wants to get paid but nobody whats to pay.
7. I bought more than I needed and I horde them all
9. HT makes a really nice figure
10. It's Wolverine and he's rad

Custom work in progress.
Saving Private Logan!

My WWI BD Wolverine.

I will switch the claws with bone claws later on.

The head is the one you find on ebay for cheap and i have repainted it and weathered everything.
