Re: Rogue

I see this is a Very Hot Topic over a lot of Boards, as for now all I can do is cross my fingers on the head sculpt, but still disappointed that her Ass did not come out like the Preliminary Sculpt, that said, if I was to venture a thought, it's like someone is trying to protect us from ourselves by changing the Ass, we are Mature Collectors, I think, I wouldn't buy anything of this Value for a Child and if one does see a Tight Ass, I don't think it will scare them for Life.

I honestly don't think this was a decision made by Sideshow Colossus but rather another factory defect.

I see your point; xYx, but what happened to QC? They could hire me for alot less and They would be Happy, customers would be Happy and I would be Happy :exactly:

Re: Rogue

Ok i just opened #380 and although her eyes are not as bad as the first pics posted, they still came out pretty bad. Mine looks exactly like the later pics. The one really bad flaw about this statue is the horrific paint job done to the eyes on both the reg and Ex head. It looks like they used a F____ pen to paint in the eye shadow and eyelashes.Although Barbarian (he is right!) is pretty pissed off about her ass, i am able to overlook that. She looks decent from afar and under low light i guess...

I didn't have a problem with the jacket and fitting the reg head.

I think that is an acceptable statue for the money then, we should just leave them in the dark and they will look just fine.... this is disgusting.

That's just how I kept looking at mine last night in my collection room (ended up falling asleep in my collection room until 3 AM this morning looking her over...:lol). I even drank half a six pack just hoping she'd look better with ever bottle I downed. She looks absolutely perfect from afar under the light condition that you have previously stated. If you have angled right you can't really tell that her eyes aren't done quite right. That's why I kinda backed up off disappointment statements.

Thank you. This pic (all of your pics actually) is making me excited for mine to arrive again. I lost that excitement after those initial pics from other users.

:exactly: it's under bright lights and a real close up view that you noticed how terribly flawed the pain on her face in general actually looks. Hey Iron did you notice that the white paint in her eyes does does not reach all the way the corners next to her nose. i think someone mentioned this before. This might be a ignorant question, but is it a machine that is used to paint all those statues or does a whole bunch of peeps paint these up?

No problem bro! and i feel your pain. She is the first statue i bought directly from Sideshow 'cause i wanted the exclusive so i ended up paying (299+ Shipping + Taxes :() alot more than what i usually end up paying

Nope, the only ignorant question, is the one that you don't ask...:lecture

Copy, pasted from Sideshow website...

"each piece is individually painted and finished, each with its own unique quality and detail that is the trademark of a handcrafted Sideshow Collectibles product."

Maybe we'd be better off if a machine were to paint these statues.

Oh yeah I have that problem with Rogue and her eye not being painted all the way through.

:rotfl that made me laugh!! i wonder what is the unique quality reflected from Rogue's face! i truly hope that they fire those guys and get new ones...i got Vampirella Pf on order and at $350 she better not have the same issues this statue is suffering from :(
