Yeah, Ebay wants me to return the item to get a refund, after providing them with a tracking number as proof that I sent it back.

I'll probably just send it back this Thursday.

I'd let EBay/Pay-pal know that I expected compensation for the attempted fraud and the amount that it will cost you to return the fake to the seller. See what they say before you send it back.

They don't give a fudge sickle about what you want or need. Their lame policy is their lame policy.

Are we talking about EBay or Pay-pal, because a couple of years ago a guy sent me three figures that totaled $200+ and were suppose to be in great condition. When I got them they were all messed up (not by the shipper either) and after investigating they sent my money back and told me to keep the figures.

EBay on the other hand are and can be a**holes.

Or one of those 12" Animated Spiderman you can pick up for $15, the old Mego Spiderman would be worth more then they deserve.

You will have to ship it back by ups or fedex to get tracking with it. But his country might not keep up with tracking. I ship stuff all over the world and that part of asia is very scketchy when it comes to mailing stuff. And it will be very expensive to ship with ups. Dont send it by usps what ever you do. They dont track anything once it leaves the states.

That is totally so not true. I bought countless stuff from ebay and forums and has always been using USPS Priority International and they track all the way to my doorstep.

As long as it's not the small flat rate envelope or box, there will be tracking for international shipment.

In fact, I dare say the speed and cost is better than UPS or Fedex

usps does track here in the states, but not over seas.trust me I know.priority express and internation express doesnt either, you get a customs number that just shows it went through customs, thats it.if you dont believe me go to the post office and tell them you want to ship to say singapore and you want a TRACKING number, and see what they tell you.I deal with this all the time when I sell on ebay.I hate selling overseas.its risky and expensive.

Yep, one of the reasons I don't sell int either..

Unfortunately, it's not a good idea to F with these criminals. I honestly think we would get screwed over even worse if we tried to send these back. Would you really trust these guys to accept delivery of your figure? If they refuse, the figure comes back (if you're lucky), and you're now out an additional $60.

IMO - Best thing to do is to consider it a lesson in careful ebaying , and call it a day.

Agreed! It could be alot worst.

Wow. I am new to these figures and had been thinking about picking up a Wolverine. I am so glad I came on here and checked this thread first. Thanks guys. Whats crazy is how many are still on eBay right now. It least it doesn't look like they were going for quite as much as they were.

Sorry you are wrong, I just shipped to Sweden with Express mail and they showed update that the owner was not home and that its undeliverable and they will try again.

Well thats what they tell me at the post office and i have tried several different ones.and all i ever get is the number for the customs form.all i can say is good luck to those that want to send it back.

I agree. I shipped express mail to Australia, Belgium, and Mexico and I was able to track the package up to when it was delivered and signed for. Not sure if it's that different in the Far East but so far from my experiences, Express Mail has provided tracking.

You know how the govt workers are, they dont know too much, hence why thousands of post office are closing. I just hope the one near me is not so I dont have to drive far to ship.

This is not true. Priority Mail International and Express Mail International - the latter of which is not a USPS-exclusive service - do offer full tracking. I oughta know. I bought hundreds of things from overseas, many of them from the States, and I only use Priority Mail and Express Mail. What you're saying is absolutely false.
I don't know if USPS offers Priority Mail International for destinations in Singapore - it probably does - but for EMS, it doesn't matter what's the package' destiantion, it always has full tracking and insurance.

Does anyone know for a fact that priority international has tracking or just express mail?
