This has heppened before. They've explained that, after a certain period of time, the Wait List is discarded.
Obviosuly that doesn't explain why it's still an option on the site, but that was the explanation.
I think it was a Hot Toys Hicks that popped up. People went bananas. :banana

:dunno
I don't think it's a big deal. The WL is basically for CC denial and cancelations. At this point, all's fair IMO.
Looking at the SSC listing I was actually surprised at how much he cost retail. Paying over $200 on Ebay isn't really that outrageous.

It shouldn't be first come first serve, it should be a lottery and whomever pays the fastest in full. Also I think they should take into account loyalty programs. People that purchase the most or are senior members.

I'm not sure if anybody knows this, but there are 4 Wolverines available on Sideshow for $169. Seems like a good deal.

Edit : Nevermind...from the time I posted and then checked back..they were gone.

If you get the e-mails about strange extra figures sideshow has, usually in damaged boxes, from being a newsletter subscriber, don't post about it on the forums, Sideshow gets mad about that, and it causes problems for Dave.

Clarification. the reason sideshow gets mad about it, is because it's a Newsletter Loyalty program thing. it's meant to be an incentive to get their newsletter, and express updates.

Yeah, they dismiss waitlists for those items that come up on the Express Updates all the time.

That's just efing wrong. What the hell is the point of offering the Wait List then? Nice to see it's back on Wait List again and will never be fulfilled.

That seems fair. Sorry, call that a rookie mistake. Thanks for being civil and informative about it. A lot of people on here aren't that nice to newcomers (which is why I've been a member for years but only have like 30 posts).

I contacted Sideshow about this just to see what they would say.
I told them that I was surprised to see this offered up since I still have an active wait list.
They responded back saying the second chance was a human error and that the 4 pieces they had were going to wait listers.
Whether this is true or not I don't know but if not it is a good response.

Makes sense because they were checking stock when I clicked on the express e-mail. I hope the 4 wait listers get them.

There was no mention of the wait list for Wolverine in last week's newsletter.

Why would they continue to take wait list reservations if they haven't fulfilled the ones they already have?

No problem, I got yelled at by a sideshow rep for doing that once myself :lol

We all gotta learn somehow, and I TRY not to flip out on people.
