I sorta agree....but hey, theres always room in the sequel. I really think, if done right, the sequel will open new ideas completly fresh and new for the franchise. They can break the mold.

They could do that and maybe to introduce more predators, they could be the more classic type to clean up the area that was left by the previous ones.

Or the more classic ones are sent to the planet to killed the super preds only to find out there dead and the new humans with Royce and the girl hunt the new preds that landed.

Just came back from seeing it, it was a good film, the slow bit in the middle wasn't as bad as people had been saying, definitely would have been better if those other superpreds weren't in it, should just been the berserker, I mean ..in the original it was 1 pred against a bunch of guys, and he killed them all but arnie of course:), but in this theres 3 "Super"preds against the humans ..and they may be the world best killers, but surely there no match for 3 pred's who are made out 2 be way more powerful and skilled then the regular pred!

O and these guys were on there own turf unlike the original, so thats just another huge advantage 4 them, and yet the p1 done way more killing by himself in the first in a world that was not his own.

The lead pred must of missed the meeting about mud and their infrared. The other two preds were goons and goons don't attend meetings.

The Russian guy blowing himself up to kill the Predator, was a twist on what a Predator normally does if it is defeated. I just got that :slap

Whats funny about that is the preds were known for learning and improving there skill with each hunting season..so you would think they should have anticipated there prey might try a kamikaze ..really stupid on there part:slap

The film seemed like more a tribute (kinda like a remake) than a sequel. I really thought i was gonna see more Predators, kinda let down by that.

Just came back from seeing it. Overall impression: Decent.

Doesnt make me want to run out and get all the merch, but definitely doesnt stop me from buying any of it either. I'd rank it just a little behind P2, but way ahead of AVP/AVPR.

The Preds should have had more screen time, and cooler deaths. It was sad to see "Tracker" get taken out so easily, and the sword fight with "Falconer" was a good concept, but it needed more flashy/intricate swordplay instead of the stale one we got. :dunno

Also anyone notice that the classic preds mouth did not move AT ALL, just his mandibles? :slap

Is anyone else interested in the blood feud between the preds? Not to be TOO geeky but I would definely read a book about how the feud got started between the clans.

Also I felt sorry for Mr Black being stuck with two of the most inept predators to appear in any of the movies

well not really. i actually think Chopper and P2 predator are owners of that honour.

:rotfl

what i don't get is why classic didn't use his plasma canon against mr black when he had the drop on him. :cuckoo:

Why does the P1 PREDATOR got BDSM-ed by his fellow Predators?? Because he came from different Clan maybe? or maybe it's like a sexual problem? :monkey1

hey I've just realized... how did those Predators regenerate them self? We haven't seeing any Little Predator or Baby Predator yet, even Female/Queen predator... Machiko? I hope they gonna do something about this in the next movie! The audiences doesn't know the answer yet, maybe except for those who read the novel or read anything about Predators...

Saw it & liked it... I'd say a solid 7.7 out of 10 (Original Predator 10/10, P2 7/10, AVP 2/10 & AVPR 5.5/10).
Not a big fan of all the "tributes" espesh when the Royce character was using the "kill me now!" line. Guess he saw the original movie before being dropped on the planet:pfft:
As for the "ending credits song" I think they were trying tooo hard. Made me think how awesome the 1st one was & how this one was just trying to live in its shadow, but like I said it was enjoyable & redeemed the franchise. LOVED the spine pull!

Oh, anyone else notice the trailer when Royce had like "10" beams on him & in the movie... only 1? And the still frame pic (I'm sure many have seen prior to the movie) of the "flushing" pred with his hound & in the movie he was solo? Just an observation... they tricked us!

yeahhhh! so many dotss but actually in the end it's only one!! what the.... I thought he was in a something like a Predator Village or Predator Land, etc... damn.. you right psyberiantiger!

It had already been announced that that scene had been enhanced for the trailers. Also, there was one quick shot of the Hound Pred standing next to two of his hounds... At the predator camp where you also see Falconer's falcon land on his shoulder.
