Those were the tasty Guinness and pear cider drinks we were enjoying.

That's what I was drinking too. I thought everyone else was drinking black and tan. Black Velvet is so much better. Guiness and cider, can't beat it.

I think it would. They drink very smooth.

Actually, I was corrected last year at the same place when I ordered a Black Velvet. A true black velvet is poured with champagne instead of cider (which sounds disgusting, Guinness and Champagne = )

When you use Cider, it's called a "Poor Man's Black Velvet". But I've never had a problem ordering it. I think if you wanted the Champagne option, you'd have to specify that.

Actually you guys have the cholo jailhouse pose. A cholo or vato is a Mexican gangster who are even sometimes part of the Mexican Mafia. I'm a white guy who grew up in California so I know plenty of cholos.

There's nothing wrong with the pose to be honest because I actually think it looks cool and makes you look tougher. Vatos Locos forever homie!!! Orale!!!!
