Thanks man! You're work is simply amazing on Bale! Glad a friend gave me the heads up on your auction when I had the chance. I couldn't be happier! Once I find the battery for my camera I'll post pics. It basically looks EXACTLY like this:

I hated that version so much ! I did not see bales face in there at all.
I agree Hot Toys has the skills, but they are developing every year. I think we all agree. Each wave of products gets better. I mean, heads we would have paid for a few years ago, are now included with TT bodies. You know ?

As far as i'm concerned, the best of the bunch is TDK new suit Bale head. Apart from the new terminator one that is. I feel most of the others are still missing the mark, even if only subtely
I don't think any HT head is even close. Very nice and realistic portraits, yes, Christian Bale, I just don't see much of it without dramatic lighting and specific angles. The nose is just very wrong, an area where Kojun's Connor and Andy's Bale shine because they got the structure right. HT's noses are too smooth and perfect looking, Bale's got a very jagged, rough structure to the bridge of his nose. The lips on the HT heads also lack something, i can't articulate it, but it's not there.

Gotta agree that HT missed the mark. I thing the main reason HT's head is off is because Bale's head is not as long and narrow as they made it, and his chin is just way too long in the sculpt. The hair is also really flat. The main focal point was their Batman sculpts so maybe they didn't try as hard with the Bales, but they could have been done better. I do like the HT BB head a bit more than the TDK head though. The TDK to me is caricaturic.
On another note, I couldn't steal my gf's camera...she is graduating from college today!

They don't have that duck bill type of pout that bale has, and the whole thing should be wider
I guess that's as good a way as any to articulate the unique look of Bale's lips
It is prominent though, especially in Begins when he's metal working his batarangs and Alfred asks him why bats.

Haha yeah, there's no other way to put it
The first HT version looks more like 'The Machinist' bale, lol, he doesnt look healthy
I finally finished my first night out Wayne kitbash today. Nothing innovative as some here have already done pretty much the same bash, but I'm happy I finished him and really like the result. 
The body, belt and the harness are (obviously) from the Takara Batman, the head, gauntlets and hands are from the HT BB suit Wayne. The gaunlets are actually both a pneumatic wrangler from the BB suit Bats, with the mechanism removed. I also had to dremel the gauntlets quite a bit from the inside to fit them on the Takara arms, as the Hot Toys arms are thinner.

Yeah I'm thinking about getting one from 7toys7 on ebay, but shipping is twice the price of the item itself.
