In my opinion, the only part of this figure that may disappoint, is the hair. The hair seems to have this clumped, semi-dreadlock look (see the link below for close-up hair pics):

But, other than the hair, everything else seems fine. Heck, it's Jack Bauer. Regardless if this figure were perfect or not, I'd still get it!!!!

Getting a little touchy here aren't we? I didn't even say this figure suck or anything. The heavy 5 o'clock shadow in this pic really reminded me of House. I do not see how that's the same as saying this figure suck.

Although there is a degradation from proto to final, this is indeed EB's most realistic paintjob so far. Yes, even surpassing a lot of HT.

Well, honestly, I've never seen Keifer with a deep afternoon shadow on 24. But, does the tone of his beard matter that much? It's impossible for the paint job to be 100% accurate to the real-life actor, and you seem to be pushing a non-issue. Bauer COULD grow a beard if he wanted to, right?

House's beard was shaved in this weeks episode, by the way. And he looked like a little boy

It would be pushing a non issue if I brought it up repeatedly but in this case, I only mentioned it once. I know how touchy we are all about how a character is represented and too me at least, EB went a little heavy with the 5 o'clock shadow. I thought they got it perfect with the first prototype pics.

well considering that that pic is taken in the dark with a flash id say it would probably look exactly like the proto in natural light. i like how one bad pic causes people to run for cover from the falling sky.

Jack Bauer's hair style is notoriously difficult to recreate. I liked Medicoms first attempt at it, they had it combed smooth to the side, second attempt was the same style Enterbay was going for, they got mixed results.

Im sure Enterbay will take another swing at it when they release Jack 2

I think everything came out just fine except for the eyes. I still have no idea what is wrong with them, but something is. I was hoping the moveable eyes would solve the problem, but since they don't move I guess we are stuck with them. I'm hoping (and betting) they look better in person. Online pics never do pieces justice and we never seem to remember that and always freak out.

I'm not too keen on the neck but that's only when the head isn't looking straight on. I intend to pose mine looking straight on.

How do moveable eyes work?

Niether Jack or Palmer have moveable eyes, the eyes are seperate pieces which are then glued into the head, from the pics posted so far i think the result of using this method is pretty darn good.

All the pics so far have been brilliiant, but i have one question: Does/Did Bauer wear shoes ? - i always thought he wore some kind of military style boots !

The neck really bothers me. Does it not turn at the base? In Tin's photos (and others' too), Jack's head is turned to the side but the neck is obviously still positioned straight ahead. It almost looks like he has a goiter in Tin's second photo.

The neck post is a sculpted part of the torso, so the only articulation is the "ball joint" at the top. Yes it does look weird in those shots, but i'm sure you'd be able to pose the figure in a similar position without getting the neck looking like that.
