i thought the earlier sculpt was pretty dang accurate, not sure why they would come back with a less accurate version, makes no sense

the nose on the new one is way off

So earlier today, I sent threezero an email asking which sculpt will be used
They send me a zip file, that contains all the pics except the sculpt pic
So I ask them which sculpt, the one on the actual product website or the one on facebook
Will post results

The first sculpt looked excellent. This new updated one looks like it's been airbrushed and the eyes look strange and glossy looking.

Nose is different too
Confirmed from threezero that the new sculpts will be the production sculpts

Not that it softens the blow or anything, but is it any surprise that the production pieces won't look as nice as the proto?

The panel lines look like butt as well. Pass…..dangit. Maybe the black version will fix some of these issues.

New head sculpt looks horribly generic. They must not have secured the likeness rights for this, which is too bad I was really looking forward to this release.

That's what I was thinking as well
And if that's the case, this isn't a prototype may vary issue, it's a flat out misrepresentation of having the rights to the actor

I'm going to request a refund, although I don't expect to get it

The face sculpt was the only thing interesting about the figure, hope they don't change it, that would suck.

How is the nose way off on the new one? It looks more accurate. The likeness overall is pretty decent I don't know what you guys are freaking out about. Way better than Ned.

Eyes had a better likeness in the P-O sculpt. It's an exclusive anyway, so not a concern for me. Think i'll be picking this guy up; prefer the look to the 3.0...

Preordered. Just got the retail ver and not the site ex. Movie was meh, but I friggin love the suit design. So detailed. So badass.

I don't know about that. I think the final helmet on the black version is a fail. The red light it supposed to be under the visor, not a 3-d bump going across the visor.
It loses a lot of it's sleek look now.

its a prototype, the proportions are miles ahead of the 1.0
