I honestly only care for the feet and headsculpt on this one. Hoping that the feet could be a nice alt bash for a cobra battle android trooper.

Moronic that the Kinnaman sculpt is only available through the site. That stops a lot of collectors from purchase.

I agree that the original movie is superior in nearly every way.
But i love the design of this suit...
I haven't got the HT Robocop. But i couldn't resist ordering this. Movie sucked. But the visuals were good.

Keep in mind that head is less than an inch high. On a computer screen it might look bad, but on the figure it will be fine.

I wish ThreeZero didn't require full payment up front on a PO. Gonna have to wait for the regular edition. As others have said, the movie was below par, but I really dig the updated suit. Just got my HT Robo, and can't wait to display it next to the ThreeZero when it releases. Good stuff!

I think they are just leveraging the amount of EX versions they make. And any sales they make themselves from their own site are cream as they won't have to pay a middleman. It makes perfect business sense to me.
I will probably still get another one from SS when it's released just so I can have a spare.
I'd have to admit that I would always prefer that sideshow would take payment up front. I'd be most happy to pay any and all HT figures I purchased from them up front and then I would know they were paid and I could relax.

And this is why you shouldn't preorder something like this directly from them and have to pay upfront. There are too many things that can go wrong with the final product. It's not fair to the customer to ask for the money upfront when they might not get something that matches the prototype, especially given the amount of money they are asking for. It's also wrong to make the head sculpt with the actors likeness the exclusive. They are trying to strong-arm people into ordering from them but the quality does not justify it.

im suprised no one spotted this earlier. i personally didnt order this since i only liked the hottoys robocop which i have.
i wanted to post this here so you all can see the updates. i really liked the previous headsculpt that was for preorder but was very suprised to see them update it with those two new pics. Im not sure if they are the latest sculpts or not, but it was posted very discretely.
ive got the tyrion and ned on order and i hope just hope those turn out better than the prototypes. if there first few headsculpts are below par for those series or even walking dead and mass effect, it would have been a great loss of opportunity for them.

It seems they're putting less love into this than Ned Stark:

I probably won't buy this anyway, even though the final piece will certainly look nice in hand, its to expensive for what you get (Though that can probably be said for many of HT's figures these days to though)
