Seeing all this coming togeather now, the cast, all these tweets, it's clear they are building upto 3-4 or more movies. I'm more thankful than ever Raimi is gone.

Harry was dead, Francos was out

Dunst wasn't coming back

No Lizard, He wanted Hathaway as "The Vultress"

No Sinister Six (Doc Ocks dead)

No Gwen Stacy Death (Goblins dead)

No more Symbiote/Venom/Carnage story ever again

Terrible decisions. People are so quick to forget how much damage he did and was going to do all for a few well coreographed cgi fight scenes.

Hopefully the 2nd ASM will reach the quality of those bad decisions from S1/S2, because ASM 1 certainly didn't.

You're right, all of those ideas sound awful. But Giamatti as Rhino and a black Electro sound great!

Yea casting highly talented actors, what a terrible decision. Almost as bad as

Dunst being kidnapped 4 times in 3 movies

Peter losing his powers in an erectile dysfunction metaphor plot

Sandman killing Uncle Ben

Amnesia and Day Time Soap Opera comas

Killing all the most popular villains

Just because they're highly talented doesn't mean it's a great decision, they have to fit the part as well. If that's your way of thinking then I guess Robert De Niro should've been Peter Parker.
