Hi guys,

Do you think this is a good deal: a new/loose Dutch's head + body + boots + outer vest + pants and grenade launcher for $100 USD?

I am planning on getting Dutch loose because I won't be displaying him with his brown shirt and camo vest anyway.

Please give me some advise guys.

Cheers

If the grenade launcher is the whole weapon he comes with and there are grenades added to the vest then I guess its good.
Seems like theres no knives nor a pistol though.

Hi fawk3s,

Yea no knife nor pistol, but I got some spare DID parts in my custom bin, so I think I can fill those gaps.

The spare parts are quite overpriced on ebay, but I don't think I need a full/complete Dutch figure, just enough to give him that signiture grenade launcher holding/aiming pose.

I am a huge Predator/Arnie fan, but I am being quite selective in terms of buying/displaying movie characters/figures. As much as I love Dutch, I can quite easily think of two dozens movie characters/figures that I want over Dutch.

I will get him if he is cheap, but I don't think I will pay for the asking prices on the bay.. So my question is $100 a good price for those loose Dutch parts? And To all you Dutch owners, does he look good with just the outer vest/pants/boots/grenade launcher (I can fill in the straps/guns/knife with spare DID parts)?

Thank you for your advices.

Well this is what he looks like with that gear, and the neck mod:

And if you dont care much for the variety in accessories and are happy with only those parts then $100 is a pretty good price I guess.

Thanks for the advices and photo guys. Yes, I like the Hot Toys muscle body and I think it is a bit of a shame to cover it up with the brown shirt and camo vest.

The brown shirt also look a little baggy in some of the photos I have seen. The other accessories are all very nice, but when I think of Dutch I think of him in the outfit like the above photo.

Well done with the neck mod, it looks much better. If I get him, I will do the same with mine.

Hi Deadleaves, no it does not come with all the gloves hands, but I am planning to sculpt the details on spare DID gloves.

I build a custom Dutch, everything Hot Toys except the glasses and watch.
He has -
Dutch head with moded neck plug from a spare true body head, the Dutch head plug I left alone
Dutch shirt, t-shirt, combat vest with gernades, pants with belt, boots, regular foot pegs, machine gun with gernade launcher, web belt with gun and holster, combat knife with scabber, long knife with scabber that has a modded thigh cord, dutch gloved hands (but not the cigar hand or cigar) Dutch display stand

T-2 T800 body with wrist pegs

True type relaxed hands and gun hands

Marcus Wright fists

I've got alot more then a $100 in him, because I wanted to be able to copy any scene in the movie.

If you're happy with what you're getting for what you want to pay then it should be worth it.
