Got my Dutch in a trade and am very happy with him, I'm sticking to one pose with his arms down after reading all the comments about the metal breaking inside his arms, very scary stuff :horror.

Also I did a youtube review of him with Modification instructions I'll be posting that up here very soon after work today as soon as I upload it. Also he looks way better with the neck shorter.

to the people who have the sideshow exclusive version. Where exactly is the headset located? I don't open my hot toys figures and I don't see it anywhere in the accessories slots. Is it hidden inside behind the figure or something? Or did sideshow make a mistake on my order?

Should be on the underside of the black plastic carrier.

One quick and crappy pic. Predator 2 and Elder Predator 2 are at Les's being fully repainted.

AWESOME! :rock

Congrats, Reiny! :D

Here is that review as promised, parts of the review are missing because I deleted them before they were uploaded on my computer, :( sorry about that. But the video is about modding your Dutch so that part is still in tact and can be good info. to those that want to do that to their Dutch.

So without further ado:

Will be weathering the arms and neck, making him look more like he's actually been in the jungle, which obviously adds sweat and all sorts of dirt on top of that.

Great figure, i'm very pleased with my purchase.

I build a custom Dutch on a Hot Toys Truetype Body, bought everything separate, and am only missing the cigar, cigar hand and muscle body. For some reason though it didn't turn out to be as great to have as I thought it would be. Sure he can pose in every way I though he would, and with the TT body I have plain hands to pose him with as well, but it just doesn't look right to me.

Can anyone give me any ideas on how I might improve on it?

Maybe put him in a little bit better gun holding pose?

Just kidding. Can you stand him up straight and give us a little better overall look at the fig?

Hey guys don't know if this has been discussed but what would be a good pose to put Dutch in with out the possibility of breaking the muscle suit? He just doesn't look right standing there in my Detolf, I feel like I wanna put him in that "famous" movie pose, but am afraid that down the line I may find cracks on his arms or other things damaged.

I think it looks pretty good. Maybe roll up the sleaves a little more...you might add a little padding under the clothes to beef up the arms, chest.

These muscle bodies are more resilient than you may think...I had a HT Rocky in a bent arm pose for over 2 years, and there wasnt once sign of wear in the elbows. I think you can put him in whatever pose you want.

Yes I can confirm this as well ............. my Rocky IV is just as old with arms bent all this time with no issues. There have been horror stories with their Rambo II body but those days are over IMO.

Tried that, never could get anything to look right. You could always see empty space between the clothes and the actual body.

As for the muscle bodies holding up, I think light, moisture and heat/cold has alot to do with how good a condition the material stays in.

I wish Hot Toys would just make a hard plastic Muscle body.

go back every few pages to 'skim' all the images/poses! its what i did anway!

i didnt think i could get him in a movie pose but you can! theres some great pics on here! try placing the gun under his right arm (arm bent at elbow into an L type shape),then place the trigger finger on the trigger then put the right arm in a sort of straight out in front pose but bent a tiny bit so that his hand can grip the grenade launcher! the wrists are fraglie but do have a tiny bit of give-just try not to push them TOO FAR left or right or they could snap!

go back in the thread when people first started getting dutch in hand-great pics!

mines got cigar jammed in mouth in the movie poster pose aiming the gun so he can posed well-you just need mess around with it!

ive had rocky (it stal vers) posed arms up bent at elbow and the muscle suit is fine! i think if you were to continuously bend/play with the arms then deteoration would probably start occuring! find a cool pose then leave them is what i do!

I think the biggest trick to not breaking the wrists is to make sure when you bend them is that you're doing it in the direction that the wrist is made to bend in. Trying to bend it in the wrong direction to me has to be one of the main reason so many collector's keep breaking them, you've got to follow the grove.

Thank you so much, also thanks to the other freaks for the help! I'll take a look back and see how to do the pose, I'm not the kinda guy who "plays" with his figs so he'll stay in that pose from now on till I move or otherwise.

Also I have Rocky III and I just got him in a arms down pose which works for me, but its good to know he can take some abuse too.
