Okay, Snake P was right. Over relentless repetitive non-sense. I'm on mission 33 and I feel that storywise something went awry. I mean character design is great, even back stories... but... building a damn motherbase and fobs... and etc... damn.. At first I loved the game, but eventually I'm like just get to the story! It had RDR moments, but Rockstar handles sandboxed way better. That being said, gameplay is kinda glitchy. I got rank D on okb zero mission after only 4 silent kills and stealthy moving to helipad with long was jeep ride. Really? I mean really?

I was honestly wishing the game would prove me wrong, it had so much going against it- from the dumbass story that seems to be written by by a 14 year old to the horrible sense of pacing which killed otherwise what would be a noteworthy idea. Don't think it will improve, in fact it gets worse! Once you reach Chapter 2, the game says "F-you, redo a crapload of missions if you want to see the ending!"

The graphics are sub par, the opening credits and chopper rides get on your nerves quick, the story is UNBEARABLY dumb, the resolutions leaves you MORE plot holes to the Metal Gear saga than answers, the music is done by a kid who just got out of college and the gameplay is beyond repetitive. I hate this game not because it's "cool" to do so, but because I consider MGS2 as one of the greatest masterpieces of all gaming, and this is such a disgrace, as if Kojima at some point was replaced by a generic, horny game designer.

Why did the game turn out so next gen sub par? The cutscenes look better than the in game graphics, but not a huge difference. I noticed some spots around mother base that had visible pixels... like c'mon this is just lazy. All that hype about FOX engine and they put out this PS3 gen level game.

I think it's because they wasted their time making the game compatible with last gen, that must have seriously took away any potential the game might have had. Take Arkham Knight for example, RockSteady said their vision for the game is something not possible on last gen consoles, as the memory required to load the Batmobile would have taken the "entirety of an Xbox 360" so they scrubbed last gen and never looked back.

I also didn't liked the way Kojima falsely advertised the FOX Engine, showing pics of real life images juxtaposed with what the engine could do when the end product is nowhere near visually what they promised.

"Believe in yourself and you will succeed. .... You have to beLIEve me!"

We warned you, but you were stuck on the hype train :lol

It's such a bad, overrated game that literally fell on hype. And I do believe being also on the last generation consoles held it back, as it seemed to have done for a few other games out there. I don't get why they'd do this.

Damn work filter blocks it.

Here ya go:

Hideo Kojima does not shy away from touching on controversial topics in his games -- let's not forget the background story of Otacon's semi-incestuous relationship with his stepmom in Metal Gear Solid 2, even if we want to. But judging by some new Kojima tweets, that'll be nothing compared to what his next game covers.

"The next project will challenge a certain type of taboo. If I mess up, I'll probably have to leave the industry," Kojima wrote on his Twitter account (via Andriasang) about his mysterious new game. "However, I don't want to pass by avoiding that. I turn 47 this year. It's been 24 years since I started making games. Today, I got an ally who would happily support me in that risk. Although it's just one person. For a start, it's good."

So truth be told, we kind of have no idea what he's talking about. But whatever controversial topic Kojima's next game will cover, it seems to be coming along nicely -- he also tweeted earlier this week that all the elements "fit together naturally in my head," including "the title, game design story, characters, configuration, settings, the mechs, casting, the way the graphics will look, sound, beginning and ending, the important dramatic sequences."

And as for having to leave the industry if he fails, don't necessarily take the comment at face value -- this is the man who promised to stop making Metal Gear Solid games about three Metal Gear Solid games ago, after all.

What's next after Peace Walker? Only Kojima knows for sure, but he gave the rest of the world a hint via Twitter today.

Says the director, "I'm thinking about the casting for my next project. I haven't even gotten to the planning stage yet, but everything is moving forward in my head. The title, game design story, characters, configuration, settings, the mechs, casting, the way the graphics will look, sound, beginning and ending, the important dramatic sequences. It all fits together naturally in my head."

It all sounds pretty vague, but the the word 'mech' is sure to get Zone of the Enders fans excited.

All empty words but the fans didn't care, cause them fans don't know ****!

You gotta love how the only thing that was truthful was him leaving MGS after 'promising' three times.

Speaking of that Otacon relationship with his stepmother, I honestly find that thing the worst part of MGS2 :lol But sure, I'll take it as being taking it up a notch as being a "taboo."

As for the rest of the plans for V, none of these extreme things hasn't already been done plenty of games before it. It didn't break any barriers or take gaming to the next level. As a main line MGS, it's a complete failure from the level of pedigree that was established by Kojima in past games. MGS4 is the weakest of the Snake trilogy, but just look at the visuals (and audio quality porn, I know you love it) I really wanted to be swayed from my preconceptions of the game, but it didn't do anything but push me further away from it. It also was the fastest MGS to fizzle out of headlines too. There's nothing to debate in it, no symbolism, no subtly at all, yet the first three games were laden with it. And Japanese games that don't have subtly seems almost impossible. Just look at Team Silent, that was their bread and butter.

That Otacon relationship in MGS2 was really weird and stupid. It came out of nowhere and served no purpose to the overall pot. There are gazillion of other ways to have a Emma and Hal fallout, like both of them obsessed over science and led to the development of Rex/Arsenal, and would have served the themes much better. MGS2 is pretty inconsistent and unrealistic, but that was the point but that Otacon stuff was really unnecessary. :lol

As for MGS4, I'm partial to that game since and I consider it a guilty pleasure. I used to hold it in very high regard but gimme some slack, I was 22 at the time! :lol

That being said, the graphics are fantastic even for today, the gameplay is tight and the sound design is still unrivaled in games today, since it was mixed by Skywalker Sound. I would gladly buy a PS4 remaster.

There would be so many little things they could add into MGS4 that could take the experience to a new level. So many skins they could add in of Snake's older suits, or even Naked Snake stuff.

But yeah, that Otacon angle was such a needless leap in tone for no reason. MGS2 is coherent if you can follow it, but to a typical lamen... it will go over their head, much like mine back in 2001. But after so many years of digesting the script and experience, is why I still look at it as the smartest game of the series and arguably the "best" one.

I dunno. Maybe we'll "get" MGSV when we're 50. :dunno

Oh- I recently chatted with a hardcore MGS fan who loved the heck out of MGSV, saying it was brilliant on every. Our conversation later later came to MGR, in which he replied "Oh, I can't play that- it's stupid and it's not made by Kojima. And Riaden is no Big Boss." :rotfl

I've come to realize that Kojima worshipers are SJWs or Black Lives Matter **** heads of the gaming realm. Why anyone thinks anything this man creates is sheer perfection because his name is on the box is beyond me. How is it Lucas can get literally shredded for his POS prequels, yet Kojima doesn't for his? The games are not beyond me, I played them, understood them, and clearly understood that their beneath the writing that came before it. From MGS4 onward, it's a snowballing drop off in quality. I've beaten this horse too many times, so I won't get into that since you know my opinions on it :lol

The series went from a heavy narrative, well thought out series that had symbolism and subtly that you can cut with a knife... to this weird Japanese mid 90s Anime. I really think it's just a mass delusion to believe this is up to snuff in comparison to the rest of the series.

I dunno man, I was a Kojima worshiper once. Heck, it ran over a decade I might add. I genuinely believed the man could do no wrong. I forgot when that obsession stopped, but I think it was sometime around PW when legions new fans were coming in.

You can easily play the series in release order and see just how much of a decline the writing got, relying on more cryptic crap, boobs and fanservice. I replayed a bit of Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake recently and I was blown away! It's direct and to the point, no gameplay fluff or dumb plot mechanics like these new games. Snake doesn't talk much but the world around him is so fleshed out, nothing is wasted it Kojima certainly tried his damn best to make a game that was years ahead of it's time. But do these "fans" ever finished it? I doubt it.

I think Naughty Dawg fans are certainly the SJWs of gaming. I don't think many people here realize Last Of Us was basically created to please Anita Sarkeesian :lol

Explain yourself!

No need to explain bruh, these videos will do all the talking for me. Just be prepared to hate ND, Neil Druckmann, and every game they made since Last Of Us and whatever they release in the future because I know you really hate SJWs :lol

This is actually the last part, theres 3 parts on this and other videos with Neil Druckmann explaining how he was inspired by Fem Frequency. You should also check out his new TIME interview on Uncharted 4 too. How much stuff he changes to please feminists is beyond crazy.

Heres another video of with Neil Druckmann giving an award to his hero :lol

And heres the Time interview. Basically all of this shows ND how many changes were made due to Anita’s influence.

You've said in the past that you've been influenced by Anita Sarkeesian's Feminist Frequency videos and the larger conversation about diversity and representation in games. How did that affect Uncharted 4?
When I'm introducing and describing a new character to our lead character concept artist, constantly she will ask, "What if it was a girl?" And I'm like, "Oh, I didn't think about that. Let me think, does that affect or change anything? No? Cool, that's different. Yeah, let's do it."

Initially, in the epilogue, it was Nate's son. Something similar happened with the mansion they go into. That was an old English guy's house. She asked, "Well, what if it was a woman?"

You have some sexist focus testers who were really upset by Nadine beating up Nate, and really upset at the end when it was Nate's daughter. To the point where we had to ask one guy to leave. In his core, it just affected him. He was cursing, "Not you, too, Naughty Dog! *********. I guess I'm done with Uncharted if you guys ever make another one, with his daughter. This ****ing ********." And I was like, Wow, why does that matter?

Awwww **** that ****.

Ew. I feel genuinely disgusted.

At least Kojima doesn't give a **** about those crybabies.

You should actually watch it, its worse than even I described :lol

Kojima Productions, Sony Santa Monica, and Rockstar are probably the only devs that make what they want and don’t worry about pandering to the SJW crowd.

Uncharted 4 is filled with it, and the funny things is, Anita was still madd about some of the stuff that made it in even though theres 2 female boss fights in the game and you’re literally not allowed to hit her. Theres even a part where she’s beating up Drake and his brother at the same time and you’re still not allowed to hit her :lol

Thats why I find Ellie to be one of the worst characters in gaming, she’s literally an Anita Sarkeesian wet dream :lol
