A demo of a new MGS game was shown tonight during Konami's MG 25th anniversary event. No footage to the public yet, but there's some info:

-Open World
-Had a realtime fox engine demo
-People seemed impressed

Snake crawled @ avoiding searchlights, killed guard, rode jeep, called in heli for evac. Sounds like MG, but the scale & atmosphere... Wow.

Famitsu.com posted a first piece of artwork from Metal Gear Solid Ground Zero, the Fox Engine game that was revealed at today's Metal Gear anniversary event. Check out the image below.

According to Famitsu.com's report, Metal Gear Solid Ground Zero is the name of the real time demo Kojima Productions showed at the event. But it is also being made into an actual open world game.

Ground Zero targets current generation specifications. Famitsu reports that Kojima Productions is also working on next generation development.

I too would like to play as sold snake but let's not jump the gun. All is not yet revealed. In still praying its a metal gear (not MGS) remake! Oh and also a live action movie was announced!!

Well, as of now, Big Boss is just as much of a main character as Solid Snake. Plus his body didn't deteriorate into a piece of crap.

I prefer Solid Snake, but since Big Boss is the "Real" Solid Snake, I don't see why I should complain about it.

At least this isn't titled "Metal Gear Solid 5" and Kojima stated Solid Snake's story is not over.
