3. Ghostbusters II
4. Batman Returns
5. Return of the Jedi
6. **** Tracy
7. The Dark Knight
8. The Avengers
9. X2:X-men United
10Batman Begins

That's according to my flickchart which is a wonderful site if you've never been there. It's more honest about what I like than I could ever be and that's the list it's generated for me over time.

I love that a good old Bond made your top 10.

4. Goldfinger

9. Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl

Goldfinger is probably the definitive Bond film, but FRWL was the first Bond movie I saw when I was a kid with my dad, because it's his favorite Bond film. I really like the villains, Bond looks cool, and Daniela Bianchi is still one of my favorite "Bond girls."

I was not expecting POTC to be in your top 10.

No particular order:

Aliens
T2
Empire Strikes Back
Die Hard
Predator
Robocop
Back to the Future (love them all really)
Jaws
Lethal Weapon 2 (or 3 but, again, love them all)
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (largely because of the banter with Connery)

Tried to cover all my favourite movie series. I gave no regard to diversity of genre (so I'm sci-fi heavy) if I were picking a favourite mafia movie it'd be Goodfellas, a favourite war movie it'd be Saving Private Ryan, a favourite swords and sandals epic it'd be Gladiator, a favourite superhero movie.....oh, that's a tough category...I mean Batman '89 for the ultimate nostalgia but it's not the best superhero movie even by my own standards.

I hate Top 10 lists. But **** it, here's an attempt at one:

4. Drive (2011) by Nicolas Winding Refn
5. Chinatown (1974) by Roman Polanski
6. Pulp Fiction (1994) by Quentin Tarantino
7. Heat (1995) by Michael Mann
8. The Ninth Gate (1999) by Roman Polanski
9. The Piano (1993) by Jane Campion
10. The Pope of Greenwich Village (1984) by Stuart Rosenberg

The reason I like "favorites" as opposed to "best" is that you get a little fun diversity. I don't think I've ever seen Lethal Weapon 3 on anyone's favorite (or **** Tracy, or GB 2) but they are totally indisputable as favorites. People generally loosen up a little.

In no particular order, and all pop culture related unfortunately. :(

- Predator
- The Terminator
- Serenity
- Superman the Movie
- Batman Mask of the Phantasm
- Back to the Future
- Robocop
- Ghostbusters
- T2
- Batman 89

Most of us anyway :lol

''Unfortunately''? What forum do you think you're on?

So a-dev, I see Indy 3 on your list and no Raiders.

I'm over at Wor-Gar's home can you come over we want to talk with you.

Lethal Weapon 1 is my fav of the bunch but it's nice to hear someone loves them all. Part 3 and 4 get so much crap. Part 3 is the weakest for me. Most of that is due to what I found to be a weak villain and the final action scene... But the rest of it holds up nicely :)

Why is it that the best action movies take place around Christmas

Die Hard
Lethal Weapon
First Blood

With that kind of record I am surprised Raiders of the Lost Ark was not taking place that time of year... Maybe it was. Hard to tell in the desert. :lol

Fav or best is fine with me... When it's your own top ten list... It's you list!!!

The only film that everyone should make sure is on there is JAWS ;)

I once posted my top 100 films on here once.

Greatest film list ever... To me :lol

This is why I have always hoped that Lucas would've digitally added a decorated christmas tree at Lukes home, in the hallway at Cloud City and in the Emperor throne room.

BTTF II
Return of the Jedi
Dumb and Dumber
IJ and the Last Crusade
TDK
Fight Club
The Big Lebowski
The Matrix
Godfather II
Unforgiven

I regret nothing.

The characters and banter allow me to enjoy all the Lethal Weapons. There's something worthwhile in all of them. Thankfully they stopped making them before CGI took hold of action films.
