This is a bash I put together several years ago using the head from a 1/6 scale Christmas Story figure that had come out (not the sort of 1/6 fig we discuss here, more of a statue, with molded plastic body.)

Nice work, Jiminydog! I have one too using the Old Man Head. Doesn't mean I wouldn't like one though with an expression more in character.

Absolutely! Just thought the early bash might be of some interest.

Doesn't show in the photo but the suit has thin stripes like Kolchak's, somebody on a board was making them custom a few years back. the tie is hideous and wrong, but I never got around to upgrading it.

I'm in. I have one that I did with the old Man head and an awesome suit by Amy Jones in a cool in-scale blue and white seersucker and a Ken hat I painted to look like straw but the expression on the HS is vacuous at best and I want one with a more Kolchak=like expression and a more properly sized hat. Put my name on the list right now. Carl was my favourite monster hunter growing up and I need the perfect Kolchak fig

There were two TV movies that kicked the whole thing off: THE NIGHTSTALKER and the NIGHT STRANGLER, released on one DVD you should get first before you get the tv series if you do.
