Hey Guys, I finished the base of the dome and got the fabric but I didnt like the patten. I ordered another sheet from a different seller and this one atleast in the pics seems to be close to the Hot Toys pattern. Ill post pics by the end of the week.

Here is the work in progress. I got the fabric today and now I need to get the fabric glue. I was a little impatient so I tried it and crazy glued it on to the shell base. I will get the fabric glue tomorrow and do it again as this first go around showed that I need the work down the base a little for a perfect fit (base fits perfectly without fabric on it). The sides of the base stickout a little because the base isnt glued to ED-209 yet.

Any update on this? It looks incredible! Have you decided to sell them to forum members or changed your mind?

I have been lazy and busy all at the same time. I made one with off white resin and the resin showed through the fabric. I planned on getting black resin so I wouldnt have to spray paint it to hide it. Just never go to it. Ill order the black resin tonight. I saw one that BlindVoyeur made on ebay sell for $130!!!! I didnt realize on his you had to cut the top of the dome off.

That’s not one of Ryan’s. You don’t have to cut anything off with Ryan’s dome.

Hi Ryan....

I am not getting any response from you.

More than a month since you informed me that the dome has been sent the 2nd time. Never got the postal service used and the tracking no from you as promised.

Is my $$ burnt, again?

Sounds like Ryan's nose is longer then a broom stick.

Hi Ryan

if you cant give me the postal service and the tracking no, please REFUND my money $100.

I do not want to wait anymore.

Thanks.

Mr Ryan

You logged in but why are you not responding and replying to pm... Why are you hiding? This is our hard earned money. Are you in some kind of trouble?

So I finally put in the time to make it. Please keep in mind that the replacement dome isnt glued to my ED yet because if I have buyers, I have to make sure yours fits before I ship. That is why I am pushing it down in one of the pics. Last 2 pics were from my first try at it.

I just wanted to inform those considering a replacement dome that I just purchased one from ashkanls and it looks amazing! Top notch work! Here's a few pics of the process my ED-209 underwent. I can stop hiding him in a box in the garage and display him proudly now!
