That would be really cool. Just make a small section of the armor a push button. I like inserting the batteries when I first get a figure to check out the light function. It looks really cool but is always too much of a pain to toggle off and on to make it worthwhile. Especially with the somewhat flimsy plastic clips that hold the covers in place.

Also the helmet piece is magnetic so you don’t have to pry it off to turn on the eyes.

Yeah, the helmet and chest aren’t too bad, other than inserting and removing the batteries. They should make all sections like that. I do wish they could engineer a way to have everything run off a single battery compartment and switch though.

I missed out initially and never thought I'd be able to get it. Then, the magic of ebay bucks made it all possible. Best IM yet for sure. Now for War Machine Mark 1....

Nah, i believe a detolf shelf can hold 13 lbs (a conservative number ikea puts on the manual) and the iron man is way below.

That sucks, well maybe I'll get lucky. If not it's not a big deal, the mark vi is the best imo.

Most of the new diecast releases are trending above retail... they are making less units overall and selling out faster, so the eBay prices are pretty much on par with what you can expect to pay.

I have this figure and I will never get accustomed to the child bearing hips Hot Toys stupidly decided to give it.

I don’t have an issue with the hips. The ab area is a bit narrow which may give the impression of widened hips.

The more the price goes up the more narrow that waist looks to me.

Come to think of it, I agree. The DX12/Armory figures look a bit under scaled compared to recent figures and they've seemed to up the scaling.
