That explains it.
I didn't like the AVP Alien at 1st neither....untill I got one as a gift.
I've been hooked ever since.

I strongly believe you will change your mind about them if you get one.

I need a regular AvP Alien one myself. I prefer the smooth dome than the rigid ones

I freakin love'em, can't get enough Aliens.
I have everyone HT has released so far(apart from BD Predalien, who I have to say I now think of as a 'HE').
I'd be the first to admit that they have used some artistic licence in their interpretation but on the shelf there is no mistaking they are THE ALIENS and I'm far more into articulation for posing over absolute accuracy (thought it'd be better to get both!).

The Neca is a great figure, if it's pure accuracy you are after (and I can see why you'd want this, I'm not stupid) but can any Neca or McFarlane figure get into these poses?

Are all those your reviews? I was actually reading all of those reviews earlier and I'd be lying if I said they didn't make me want to build an alien collection even more. Any pics of Grid though? He'll actually be my first one along with the Predalien

I never reviewed the Grid on his own as it's so similar to the regular AvP, I do have him though, here are some old pics I posted back when he first arrived-

Yeah, that's what kills me about the HT aliens... if only they wanted to, they could give us far more accurate figures.

I think I already said this but I'm buying this because I don't think there'll be another dog alien in this scale any time soon - I'm still disappointed in how it looks going on the pictures we've seen.
