Clash of the titans remake

Yeah the music didn't do it for me either.

I'm not sure this will do justice to the original but we will see hopefully it lives up to it.

Athough I'm not really a fan of music like used in the trailer, I can honestly say that I think that the music works well with the trailer. It is clearly done becuase it's popular to do, but at the same time there was some epicness in that music, which fitted the trailer well!

Although I hope that the movie itself eventually will have a score of it's own, preferably an epic one

Sadly, I kinda agree.

The trailer was splashed together with the same feel of all movies of the type (300, Troy, Alexander etc.). Beyond being a fan of the original, I did not see anything in the trailer to get me pumped to watch a different version of 300.

I still have hopes since I was a big fan of the original many years ago.

The teasers are never as good as the actual trailers so I'm not going to take much from that but to be honest I didn't really see the epic scale of a movie I thought I would in that. Yeah , the music didn't fit at all imo.
I'm still really looking forward to this though.

The problem with using music that is popular at that time, is that it ages the movie very badly for future generations.

Definitely even more psyched for this film than I was before - I can see this becoming the franchise that the first was supposed to become.

I'm hoping we'll see some 1:6 action figures from this movie. Preferably by Hot Toys. Besides giving us some awesome figures, it could be a great oppurtunity for them to do figures that aren't modernday or future time heroes.
Besides the Pirates, Goemon and Kamui Gaiden lines, most of their lines are related to modern day technologies, weapons and armours. I think it would be cool to see them make these figures, because of the ancient armours and weapons they carry.

They already have an excellent Sam Worthington headsculpt, which basically would only need a different hairsculpt and it's Persues. Although a different expression would be nice too, so it's not a Marcus Wright clone.

Besides him, they could do a number of very interesting looking figures, judging from the poster images and the trailer. Imagine a Zeus made like Iron Man, with an armoured body? Or perhaps even Medusa?

Altough the trailer doesn't show an awful lot yet, it was enough to get me really excited about a possible 1:6 line

But even still, if the figures look cool enough, then I might buy (some of) them anyway
