Alien "Big Chap" Maquette - Official thread (continued)

Got the WARRIOR MAQUETTE this past Xmas after debating for over a year and was totally floored by it. I figured "well this is it for Alien, no more for me". Boy I am a hypocrite! Ordered Big Chap as at this point, I feel it is a must-the pose works for me when angled correctly (like most other statues) and the detail again looks amazing from the WARRIOR group. Can't wait to get this puppy and really freak my wife and daughter out!

I doubt it, the pics just show off the under dome detail. If you're keen I'm sure you could get it off though.

Awesome statue, but the hands still look funny to me. Everything else makes me so excited about it.

I fraking love it. I only hope mine will arrive with such an amazing paint application. Which I know is out of the question. But this is one piece I would definitely upgrade to elite in house painted edition, for say $300 more maybe, if that existed...

The dome will not be detachable. But the original source of those pics commented that the fingers have been "corrected".

Hell, I used to have the old Kenner 18" figure when I was 4 years old, and the glowing head scared me at night, so my mom threw it out.

Any idea how they have anchored so as to be stable? It looks precarious, but I'm sure they must have come up with something so it will be stable and solid on it's base.
