Re: 1000toys - TOA Heavy Industries Synthetic Human

I missed out on the first issue and reissue of the white Synthetic Human, and it was such a hassle trying to get one during SDCC back several years ago. So this year I took a chance on the Snake Eyes exclusive. I wasn't a fan of the hard plastic rib armor, and so I decided to take the figure apart. To my surprise, it's a Synthetic Human body. I haven't figured out how to take out the forearm claws, but it's super poseable and pretty slick! Get it if you've missed out on the white Synthetic Human version.

Re: 1000toys - TOA Heavy Industries Synthetic Human

^that was very nice flying post!!!

Re: 1000toys - TOA Heavy Industries Synthetic Human

Woah!! A black - grey synthetic human looks so good! I would be more interested in the body itself than the armor, but the mask is too cool not to love it. I keep thinking we need female synthetic humans too, with the same poseability. That would be perfection to me ^^

Re: 1000toys - TOA Heavy Industries Synthetic Human

If any company can do it, it's 1000Toys. A female version is hard for me to envision, though. The 'male' body is so emaciated-looking that I don't see where they can make some parts narrower.

Re: 1000toys - TOA Heavy Industries Synthetic Human

Hi Net2522,
It's tricky ... you will need to remove the arms from the shoulder (one screw for each arm/shoulder on the top-back-shoulder), remove the head and neck ... use baby oil or soap to help with the removal just in case; they're connected via ball joints. Once the arms are removed, use drops of Armor All protectant (or something similar) on the ribs that come in contact with the gray suit (mainly the left and right side area of the suit). The now tricky part, you gotta heat-up the rib armor. I did it on my electrical stove, turned-up high. I would use my hands to find a distance from the burner that was uncomfortable but not enough to burn. Heat up the armor on all sides for a several seconds by turning the figure, and then slowly pull and twist the armor. Then re-heat again and repeat the pull/twist and tug. Good luck, I hope this helps.

gloved hands, funky feet, and its black.
its pretty much a anticarb/carb unit under there with slight adjustments rather than the synthetic human.

Re: 1000toys - TOA Heavy Industries Synthetic Human

Still waiting for my reissue synthetic human. Hopefully get ship next month.

Re: 1000toys - TOA Heavy Industries Synthetic Human

Anyone going to go for the old-man undercover one? Tempted, but I've quite a lot of money going to Iron Man flex-pays atm so I'll have to think on it!

Although KAIGEN and HAKUU were delayed to join KOKTO in the mission for tracking down the CaRB, KAIGEN manages to step into close quarters and place a fatal blow to the CaRB as KOKTO's Prototype Portable Ballistic Acceleration Device stalls CaRB's movement, but...

Re: 1000toys - TOA Heavy Industries Synthetic Human

Not those boots again :gah: some geta sandals or the snake eyes feet would have looked better...

Re: 1000toys - TOA Heavy Industries Synthetic Human

Hmmm. Now that's interesting.

That's what I like about this company - not afraid to tread the unusual path.

Does anyone have word on when we'll likely see the new synthetic human orders? I've lost track.
