Oh no, so what are you going to do?
If I get him, the Spider villains may end up in the overspill room.

My custom stand using the shortest post puts Gobby at just shy of 17“ on his glider fully upright. Might be an option for you.
Thanks, I’ll keep that in mind! I do love the look of the clear acrylic rods on yours.

Thanks! That's about what I figured. My shelf tops out at 18".
There's an ebay seller still selling his custom height poles for this and the other Goblin figure. Saw a few people use it. Lets you have him pretty close to the floor.

My spare suit, scarf and 2 extra helmets came in from TA today. I'm thinking of shaving down the back of the helmet to allow the hood to be worn over it. That way I can achieve the concept art look he had. Then find a place on the hip/leg area of the suit to cut to allow the articulation to be better. The material actually works well for the knee and elbows but it's way too restricting on the hips. Freeing that area up will allow him to crouch down better instead of just awkwardly standing upwards. Will post updates once I get around to it.

What about crafting a new hood to accommodate the elongated shape of the helmet?

I would love to find a source for that purple fabric. One of his arms is wrapped in it, and I would love a bit more raggedy-look around his other limbs

How did you remove the forearm weapons? It looks like they are permanently attached on my figure.

Awesome photos!!!

These really highlight how great the design and colors are of this suit. The damaged areas and other details and textures of the suit make it so interesting to the eye.

And the headsculpt is amazing, your photos demonstrate how well HT has captured DeFoe’s likeness and how the ability to move the eyes allows for so many interesting expressive options with this figure …it is incredible

What a figure this is!

Opened this up last night and I like him even more than I expected, in hand this Goblin is truly impressive.

But as several people here have mentioned he is very stiff in the hips and abdomen due to his suit so there are some definite posing limitations with him, particularly on the glider. Unfortunately I didn’t really take time to use the flight stand and try to get more varied poses from him on that. Clearly the flight stands gives you way more visual variation than the way I have him.

All that said I LOVE this figure, it has tremendous “presence” and will certainly be a focal point on any shelf. And even though I wish he were more posable, I will never be accused of being a dynamic poser 😁 I am pretty basic with how I pose my figures, I care more about how a figure looks than anything else so I am more than happy with this Goblin.

Speaking of looks, I know the satchel strap is supposed to go under the shredded hood. I decided to put it on top of the torn garment because his belt, the strap, and pouch all are damage free while the rest of his outfit is chewed up, so to me it seems like those items were put on after the events that damaged his suit and so it would make sense that they would be on top oh what is left of his hood.

I’m really interested in doing this too to get him crouched on the glider but it seems like it might be difficult. Let me know how you go about it

Thank you! I agree, the suit really pops and the likeness is scary good. I believe this sculpt was the first Marvel character to get the rolling eyes and I’m so glad that he did. Just wouldn’t be the same without them! Here’s a another bunch of photos.

Love these shots …you are bringing life to this figure despite his limitations. I would think anyone on the fence about this figure would pull the trigger after seeing your photos.

Also, I never even thought about possibly posing Goblin in front of or next to the glider …I might end up doing that in my display because I don’t really want to use a flight stand.

This Goblin and figure does look epic. I just can’t justify getting both.
I simply must own the OG all-green Green Goblin due to my love for the Raimi movies so, even though this design is quite clearly superior and far more visually stimulating, there’s now way I can choose it over the version that represents the movie I love.

Yes I hear you!

The all green Rami suit is super cool looking and dripping with unmatched nostalgia!

So I have already flip-flopped and went back to the strap under the hood look, I think it looks better for some reason. Maybe if the strap were a bit weathered it would looks better on the outside, it’s hard to say.
