I prefer the ‘approach Eleven via Kit for a run of new painted sculpts’ option. That’s bound to be cheaper.

It’s not a one or the other, exclusive kinda deal. All options are open, but as Godfather1408 pointed out, Eleven may not be willing.

Yeah Doc just doesn't seem like the kind of character he goes for. And no one's ever offered a new painted sculpt for the Part 2 figure in all this time so not sure why everyone thinks we'll get one for this.

Yeah, I do like the snazzy shirts Doc wears in the BTTF films

You'll find this hard to believe (ha) but they've already shown off the sculpt on a third figure - Doc 55.

I'd honestly love a figure for just about every outfit Doc wears in the trilogy. They were all such cool and memorable looks.

I think I've remembered wrong. It was during their BBTF event at Toy Sapiens with all the full-size costumes.

Finally got my Doc!

While I'm happy they finally did announce and release this version of Doc I am, as many others, a bit dissatisfied that they reused the same sculpt from their Part 2 version. Even down to the holes for the sunglasses to fit. This is grade A lazy when you consider this is coming from the "top company in 1:6".

While this is a bit of a let down as far as sculpt goes, where this figure truly shines is in the outfit and Accessories. This guy is chalk full of them. I love the tool belt and all the tools. The remote and all the gadgets. Even the plutonium case is better than I expected after hearing it was made of cardboard.

Of course I'll be sourcing a custom head sculpt for Doc here but everything else I'm really happy to have in the collection.
