I was going to order from BBTS this upcoming Friday. Just to find out today that it was sold out. I just checked last night and they had more than 10, sucks. I just placed an order from Sideshow and payed the extra $40 better than those aftermarket prices. But $364 shipped sounded sweeter ....I could care less for the exclusive Helmet.

Can anyone kindly provide a picture of this diecast MK6 besides a non-diecast v1 War Machine MK1?

Edit-stupid photos...let’s try this again.

Couple quick pics for ya.

Just side by side it’s not a bad look. It just becomes way more noticeable when it’s posed next to the new war machine and whiplash mk2

Thanks! Yeah doesn't look half bad. I thought it would be way smaller than the MK6. If theres no WM MK4 (or if its too expensive), I'll probably get this.

No worries. Yeah the originals still a great figure. Just happens the dc version is amazing. Lol

actually looks pretty good. opinions are to each person obviously, but i prefer the look of the original war machine over the dc. to me the dc is way too big / oversized.

i'm more that happy w/ how my 3 display together.

Yeah they look good. I was just under the impression that the height difference would be much more than it actually is.

I prefer the sheer bulk of the die-cast, just not $700 prefer.

I have my plastic original MK6 displayed with the DC Whiplash and DC WM MK I. Having both the DC WM is worlds better than the plastic version(bulk and color). The DC MK 6 was impressive not to the degree the DC WM impressed me.

I want to get my first Iron Man and I am torn between this new DC, and the mark XLV. Anyone have a preference and why?

I don't have either one, but I did order the VI. Far more iconic armor, more screentime, greater departure from other armors you may get in the future. I think it will fit in nicely with my 43 and 46.

Mk VI. Easily one of the best Iron Man figures I've owned by a huge margin, and I've been through a fair number of them. Awesome base, great paint, awesome proportions, solid engineering. The suit itself had a lot of screen time between IM2 and Avengers and its share of memorable moments.

I also think the VI looks better than the 45. The 45 has fans but I've never been partial to it. It's a nice design and I actually like Age of Ultron, but the suit wasn't memorable for me.

I also think it's better to get the VI now for retail while you can. I think the aftermarket prices on it will spike while the 45 will continue to be pretty flat.

From your post I can't tell if you've had the DC Mk VI in hand or not and weren't impressed by it. The plastic Mk VI was actually my first Hot Toys figure so I had some sentimental attachment to it.

This new version makes it feel like a toy. An expensive toy, but a toy. Not because it's diecast (I don't buy into that), but because of how far they've come in sculpt, paint, engineering, etc.

The Mk VI is not a figure to be missed. Anyone that is on the fence and passes will regret it when the aftermarket prices goes bonkers one day.

I have this, the 43, and 46 actually. And I can confirm, they do fit very nicely together. :hi5:

My idea was to have the armors that show the best evolution between Iron Man and Infinity War, so I want the Mk 50 and will also get Mk 1 and 3 if they do them again.
