Thanks for the responses about the dome materials. It was kind of hard to find the right answer in this thread.

Can someone who has this in hand describe the type of material used for the dome? Durability? Hard or soft material? thanks!

Back when Hot Toys were making some of their top quality work for around $150, that was the sweet spot for many collectors. Now figures are going around almost 2x the price, I think it has caused many collectors to lose interest. Very nice collectibles, but not worth the prices they ask.

Sometimes the figures come with plastic wrap, sometimes they don't. As long as the figure looks mint, I wouldn't worry to much about it.

I actually like the freddy figure alot. Looks great. I wish a company like Hot Toys would make 1/6th versions, I'm sure there would be a ton of interest. SDCC Jason sold really well... the interest in these characters are definitely there.

I think the real issue here is the price... at $300 many collectors feel there should be more accessories to justify the price, even if they don't match up with the particular scene in the movie. If they priced Robo more reasonably like $170-$200, I think majority of collectors would find the...
