I don't buy that. They might not use the name "Slave Leia" (which is really little more than a nickname) but if Disney approved, say, the release of a Slave Leia Itty Bitty from Hallmark in 2016, I don't think it's credible to claim that they won't put out any version of the character anymore.

I dunno, I could see a lot of people who don't even collect figures buying just a Slave Leia.

The old Jabba also had a seam in his tail, and although I would say it's considerably more noticeable than the new one, I still didn't know it existed until very recently. Of course it also has that gigantic patch on his bottom as well.

Oh, I printed and painted one of those gonks back in 2016. I scaled it to match the 6" Black Series figures. The model is (or was) freely available on Thingiverse.

I think slime would dry out quickly and not look too great once that happened. I would probably use some kind of brush-on gloss coat mixed with whatever color you want the slime to be. But I have no desire to do anything to the figure personally.
