Is that yours? That is the coolest display for Indy I've ever seen! That base is awesome, and the paint is great, but the headsculpt is simply way, way off though it doesn't look as bad as those other pictures... The hat looks better pushed back like that so you can't see how crazy bad it is...

No, it proves 2 things: 1) the painter did a really really nice job but, 2) you can't polish a turd (whatever Mythbusters might say). This is just an AWFUL Indy, just about the worst HF sculpt ever. And the hat that goes with it is only just slightly better than the cloth hat that came with...

Jeez, color aside, even the Hasbro shirt looks better.... It actually fits like a real shirt. HT's wide open out-of-scale collar makes Indy look like a 6 year old trying on his Daddy's clothes....

That new, tighter pinch is right on the money -- it screams Raiders! Can't wait to see it all painted up!

Stellar work on the head! But, as mentioned, the brim is way too wide, and, depending on the height of the ribbon, the "pinch" in the front may need to be tighter and extend all the way to the top of the ribbon. Not sure from the angles in the pics you posted, but it may need to be just a bit...

Questionable sculpt aside, the hat is completely wrong and that = EPIC FAIL.

Lightbulb: use TRON technology to young-ify Ford and make another one set in the 30's without Shia LaDouche. Or Lucas...

Never. Literally, never. If I were to live a thousand years, every single one of those 365,000 days I would shake my head, at least a little, in regret at just what a miserable disapointment, in every way imaginable, the PT is. And that's nothing personal against the poor, misguided souls...

Seen LOTR on BluRay? The CG is magnificent, but on BR it stands out like a very very very sore thumb. Way rather watch it on regular DVD where it still looks like a film. Avatards. Sums it up rather well!

Acetone. It's gotta be acetone. But be VERY careful, because it'll wipe the painted stripes on the helmet (and maybe the black trim and the paint on the eyes) off as well if you get too close. Use just a little at a time, on a Q-tip, and wipe off the loose paint as you go, or it will smear...

Re: Sandtrooper 12" Image Thread Actually, it looks exactly like that out of the box. I've got three, and they're terrific. Having said that, of course I modded them extensively; but now I would far rather have a squad of SS ones (with decent articulation and amazingly detailed weapons)...

Really great work, and the photos look fantastic! One question: Did you cut every single one of the oval lights out by hand with an exacto knife? I've always wanted to do exactly that, but the thought of all that knife work turns me off big time!

Great pic, conclusive proof it's SS beyond all doubt! BTW, is that the Relic Hunter machete on the TMC?
