Yes and no. I like the overall design, minus the stripes. but I hated the body SS game him. Unless you missed the SS release, I personally didn't see a need for another Magneto, let alone 3.
Actually I would prefer the Sideshow Magneto (with a replacement body) but I missed that release, so now I’m trying to figure out which new Magneto figure to get.

I feel like most of Sideshow's comic figures would've benefited mostly from better, more comic like bodies. It's like after the original Superman and Batman one off bodies, they gave up on making better superhero styled male bodies. I would say SSR has done a great job on their recent N52 Batman body. Something that size with double jointed arms like it has would've been great for a majority of male superheroes from Sideshow like their Magneto, Cyclops, and Batman/Superman 2.0s

It's perfectly possible to have comic like musculature in 1/6. HT already did that with their batflecks and VGM spideys. Just has to be sculpted in the suit, not a simple fabric suit over body which this line probably can't do because of cost.

Sure but... then people just switch to bitching about not being able to pose the things because the rubber suits are so thick and bunch up when you bend joints, or that the coating might flake or whatever XD That folds into what I mean about people not being realistic about what's possible vs their expectations.

Agree the SSC bodies suck , but do think the outfits they made are great .

Just watched first 2 episodes of X-men '97. And I'm really liking their take on Magneto. Hope someone makes 1/6 figures from that show (not Mondo).

You are right buddy. For instance, is it possible to achieve this level of definition and realism in 1/6 with crazy articulation? At least not yet.

The fact this is modded Hot Toys (I think anyway) is insane to me.

Makes sense, I saw the Zhao sculpt and assumed it was the figure.
So did I when I first saw it, even asked him what he is actually opening PO for this time 🤣 then I saw his shoulder muscle and that stretched fabric detail all around his body.

Why did these Marvel figures have to be part of a budget line? Why?! 😫 What cruel fate. Imagine if they had gone all out on this line. This should've had a Deluxe version.

I would gladly give up those power effect accessories and dumb magnetic hands for a 2nd unmasked neutral head sculpt with swap out hair. Then we could put the helmet on the neutral sculpt and the hair on the angry sculpt, that would have given us 4 display options. Then they could've added a diorama base of that Jim Lee fold out cover and we put all the bases together to recreate that whole scene.

He could also use some relaxed hands. Magneto is so confident with his powers, its much scarier when he's not even angry.

And Wolverine should totally have fabric trunks like this, instead of that awful sculpted speedo with metallic blue paint.

No it’s honestly amazing
I'll never know. I won't fall for another Disney production. They hate me and everything I stand for. I cannot, in good faith, give them the pleasure of my time.

I checked out around Season 3 of Mando. Ahsoka is my all time favorite SW character. I wouldn't watch that show because I KNEW what they'd do with her. And from what I've read and little I've seen, I was right to avoid it.

X-men or a slew of any other awesome properties I grew up loving which they now control, I absolutely refuse to entertain it.

I just can't. And it's a hill I'll die on.
