It looks like you only need to take away 2.4 millimeters from the body to get it scaled correctly. As others have said, removing the neck's barbell hinge seems like a good solution, just don't do it the way I did! I removed the neck adaptor for the hinge as well when the hinge wouldn't budge...
This figure needed to be a home run for Sideshow... and it is!
My car was struck by another and deemed a total loss. I was given a check for the amount of the car and through that, and as a result of positive reviews on this forum, I hit the "Buy Now" button and never looked back. I'm very glad...
He is looking, well, amazing! Thought I was going to say something else? My gripe toward Clara doesn't exist here. The hair sculpt is excellent! Ha! I'm too broke to collect these figures at the moment, but Eccleston will be my one purchase. Can't wait.
The face is bang on! Clara, indeed. But I hope the hair sculpt of the finished product is more defined. In the image, Clara's hair seems too plastic looking. Hair sculpt is always a make-or-break for me. Hot Toys Maria Hill did sculpted hair right. Copy their technique and I will figure out...
Ever since I first saw this set, I knew I had to have it. Part of the reason was due to the shear lunacy of it. The other being that four of my female figures were in desperate need of clothing!
First let's start with the big con for collectors like myself: the outfit was not meant for a Hot...
KGHobby has pics up on the OSW Forums and on their Facebook page. You can see another (unflattering) image of the head sculpt on eBay using Playtoys[sic] as the search term or simply going here.
I would love for Hot Toys to give the female TrueType another go. I think they made a major miscalculation with the first pair by giving them identical head sculpts. Why buy both?
However, head sculpts for any new female TTs would still be a necessity. Unlike the males, there is little to no...
Hey guys, I finally have a little money to spend for cosplay when I go to Dragon*Con next week and will be going dressed as a future Doctor from "Doctor Who". I've decided I want an Adipose (which I will sculpt as I don't want to use the stress toy) to poke out of the Cyberman helmet as I carry...
After four months I've decided to call it quits on the good ol' future sonic. It's just been one problem after another and, quite frankly, it's been wearing me out!
For now, I'm focusing my attention on the photo shoot (I may be a sonicless Doctor!) and when I'm no longer broke(!) I'll do as I...
...So... I hope it's true what they say, "Third time's the charm." :rotfl
I decided the bronze paint is too dark to pass for the "brass" parts of the future sonic -- not to mention I tried Dullcoting the screwdriver, which ate up and messed up the paint throughout even after it was sealed -- so...
Count me among those eagerly awaiting more info and some pics from this line! Don't really want or need a nurse outfit, however. May make some use out of it, though, considering I'm kind of kitbashing my own "line" of female assassins, etc.
I'm holding out hope this will be a battle-damaged optional type figure like their Iron Man Mark III. More importantly though, I want Weller's bald head under -- and without! -- that helmet!
One of my most wanted figures this year!
Hot Toys announced in January that they will be revisiting Robocop with a new design based upon "updated technology" and will be making a Cain figure as well! There's a thread about it here.
