I don't know if it has been mentioned before, but it looks like the blue warrior uses an updated 79' Xeno sculpt. From what I can tell, the bicep swivels have been removed and the knee articulation has been changed like the new ultimate Warrior Xenos. I'll bet the tail articulation is probably...
Saw this on NECA's twitter:

I suppose it depends on which version of Drake they released first (or both at once). They can do the fully armored and smartgun-armed version as well as the stripped-down version with the flamethrower (and possibly the alternate damaged head)
The tweet does say "some are character debuts!!"...
I think I'll only get Vasquez from this wave. It does not look like the Ripley has a removable jacket like the Alien3 one, so I will have to see it in person to decide if I want it, but as of right now I can take it or leave it. I already own 6 of each BD Warriors, and I don't care enough about...
I think I'll pass on these new warriors. I already have a ton of the previous ones, and the articulation additions don't really appeal to me greatly enough to warrant spending more money. And I actually prefer to sacrifice some articulation and keep the sculpt more intact on the hands and legs...
Wow, 7 figures is a lot. Well, series 12 could have between 3-4 figures, and I think I read that they were doing a special 2-pack, so even with a full 4 figure series 12 and the 2-pack that is still just 6 figures. Unless the are counting the sign or accessory pack as figures.
Maybe the sign...
What they should have done was made a K-Series Alien from the "AvP: Extinction" game by using an the updated "Aliens" Warrior sculpt and used the yellow coloration. That way we could have a video game based Xeno and it could double as the TMNT creature if so desired...
Yikes... I had heard about the rubber issues with the ED-209 and older Aliens, but I didn't know about the human-type figures and how the rubber used on them turns out. Apparently not well.
So far the only HT figures I have are the Classic Predator and P2 Elder Predator, both of which use the standard plastic jointed arms. How does the rubber hold up on the figures that use it for their arms? Any major issues with wrinkling, deformation, or degradation?
I don't own the new Arcade Warrior figure, but as far as I can see from the reviews the differences between the original and the new Warrior sculpt are:
-Head and torso are the same sculpt, but appears to have better range of motion in neck and shoulders
-Upper arms remove bicep swivel, rest...
I really think the AvP Preds are the best Predator figures NECA has produced. The AvP designs are not even close to my favorite (Jungle Hunter all the way!), but the sculpt, articulation, accessory count, paintwork, quality control and their sheer size and heft really do make then stand out...
If I had to guess, I think that series 12 might consist of- Blue Warrior re-release, Ops battle Vasquez, and either a new Marine or Jacket Ripley.
They might go the way they did with series 5, and have both blue and brown Warrior variants with 2 other figures making the wave a 4 figure...
I think the "Aliens" line may be entering the phase the "Predator" line is in now, some re-issues or improved figures, figures finishing up the last movies (Resurrection, AvP:R etc.) and a lot of Kenner/comic stuff to fill out the waves. That, and diorama pieces and accessory packs.
Barring...
Same here, the only things they announced for this year that I was going to get is the Marine accessory pack and the Queen re-issue. The Covenant Xeno is a "maybe", but I'll have to see it in person first.
