I just got mine in the mail yesterday. This is the first Hot Toys figure that I've been dissappointed by. Proportions are pretty good but the color is terrible. It's like Hot Toys confused the lighting of the movie with the actualy color of the suit and what we end up with is a washed out gray...

Is there anyway to get a Gohan head for Cell Saga Gohan that is NOT super saiyan? I've seen some in videos but don't know if figures were actually sold like that or if they are customs.

True but IW Thor was overpriced too. I mean, seems like just a year ago figures were in the $230 range right?

And I think part of it is Hot Toys' release schedule. I don't get excited about much from them anymore because it it's like 1.5 - 2 years between announcement and release. That's a long time.

I think it's too early to say whether or not it's dead but even if it does show up at SDCC, that still doesn't mean it will ever get made. I think Shazam is low enough on HT's list of priorities where I could see it just never coming out.

I seriously hope Hot Toys does NOT throw a splash of silver on the chest. That silver we're seeing is just light reflection from the scale material. Same with the poster. It's the light reflecting off the scales. You can see the same effect on his shoulder scales as well. The suit does not...
